Recapping the best Wolves players ahead of FPL restart

Wolves are offering a healthy number of viable assets for Fantasy Premier League managers, regardless of their chip strategy.

The next few weeks mean that their players could help out those Free Hitting or Bench Boosting in Double Gameweek 30+ or planning for the long-term.

We are currently recapping which players went into the coronavirus (COVID-19) suspension in the best form, using each club’s last six matches for the analysis.

We have also been assessing the impact of recently appointed new managers in the Premier League, so this series covers the other 15 sides, concluding with Wolves.

As we are sure you understand, a lot has changed since the climax of Gameweek 29, with Premier League players unable to fully train with their team-mates for nearly three months.

However, it should still serve to know who was performing best before the break.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those signed up to a valid package can access it in full.

Which midfielder to go for 5.2 mil and under (prefferably an arsenal 1)

Okay after about an hour of tweaking, I think I am finally happy with my team... until tomorrow. Thoughts?

    Henderson,
    Alonso, Doherty, Lundstram, Egan,
    KDB, Mahrez, Grealish,
    Kun, Auba, Jimenez.

Bench boost: Leno, Mount, Cantwell, Targett.

Very nice. Is it possible to sneak in Sterling for Mahrez by downgrading Doherty to Ake and Jimenez to Jota/Pukki

Just an idea, think sterling will do well

I personally think Mahrez and Sterling start 1 game each and have similar minutes, which reduces the appeal of Sterling for me... Just an opinion though so could end up being wrong!

FH'ing myself, so no expert, but looks pretty good. Have Stevens and Baldock, but if in-the-knower's say Lundstram's starting the first game, will ship one for The Lord.

Looks good. Maybe having Alonso and Lundy is too much of a risk as both aren't sure to start? I had Mahrez in my draft until recently. Just think his place in the City team is under threat by too many others

Yeah a pretty big risk having them both, kind of relying on hearing if he starts the first game before the deadline...

Hard to decide: i feel my team is ok/strong for the end of the season.
    A : just free hit for gw30
B : built a team with 12 dgw players + bench boost in gw30 then wc in gw31

I still have all my chips, 0.0 itb

    Here is my team
    McCarty Ramsdale

Thoughts on this BB. Haven't gone all-in with the double.

    Ederson - Leno

    Jimenez - Jota - Nketiah

but FH could be used in GW38+ or any other week. This is usually advocated by those playing it now. It just feels a slight waste.

I'm really happy with my current team without transfers (Pope, Salah, Rashford, Bruno etc), I would only want Kun, Auba, Sterling, triple Shef utd this week only. Makes perfect sense to FH for me this week

Use FH makes your team revert back to a team that’s isn’t designed purely for one game week.
Are you saying using the unlimited transfers and then BB is a better option , as you can still take a small hit down the road

For me I decided that I could get a very similar team to the FH version using the unlimited transfers whilst having more players in my team playing for the Bench boost. Then I’ll FH in 31. I could have gone without the unlimited transfers tbh but wanted to maximise the Bb and FH

I did a slow WC so my current squad is set up nicely but still unsure which approach to take, hopefully you can help me decide...

Option 1: UT+BB (WC next week, or FH then WC later)

    Ederson
    TAA Doherty O'Connell Egan
    KDB Grealish Fleck
    Aguero Aubameyang Jimenez

    Leno Saiss McGinn Mount

Option 2: FH (save BB for maybe 31+ and WC for whenever)

    Henderson
Doherty Stevens O'Connell (or Lundstram if team leak)
    Sterling KDB Grealish Mount
    Aguero Aubameyang Jimenez

    Bench: Martin Guendouzi Kilman Simpson

    ????

Unlimted T's this double gameweek (which is only 4 teams i think right) could be a trap!? are you considering FH this week then or sticking with current team?

In the same boat. I'm starting to think that FH this week makes more sense. Sets up a decent DGW team without forcing me to use my WC next week so gives me some more GWs to assess form etc. Then I've still got the BB for later.

Well, i keep coming back to the FH yes. Becuase, even though (let's assume) our/your rivals have a Bench Boost activated, it's for what though. 4 players, who won't be awesome players anyway and you won't have enough cash for really good single ones either. Taking into consideration rotation issues too.
It just doesn't seem to add up, decimating the value in my team (it means i can't buy back certain players in a WC anyway), blowing a BB when a FH will do.
It's late and i'm counter arguing with myself now too :))
        Good luck

no i like the theory behind your choice mate, i have been set on FH ever since last week, i mean it would just cancel out the slow wildcard we did... each day i become tempted to do UT + BB but more for fear of missing out

FH (for us) seems to be the sensible and calculated approach

I was in the same boat. I like your original team without mcginn. I'd play that this week without any chips at all. Personally, I'm doing the UT, WC next week route as I've pretty much given up on FF this year and just wanna go big or go home in these last few matches

Yeah cheers. The slow wild card sets up nicely for the rest of the season too. Too many times over the years have we all fallen for the DGW trap (or crap more like).
The only issue is, as this article lays out, it's like the only time you can play a WC and CHIP (but it's comes back in the circle of, yeah but who we actually getting on the bench etc...i remember why i love n hate this game now...lol :))

If you're happy with your setup for the run-in but want to take full advantage of the double, I think the best option is to FH.

After scoutcast I have made a draft without Auba. What do you think about this BB and WC31 team?

    Henderson Leno
TAA O’Connell Egan(or Lundstram) Targett Doherty
    Mount Sterling KdB Saka Grealish
    Abraham Aguero Jimenez

Looks good. Would you consider McGinn for Mount and Bellerin for Targett?

McGinn have been in most of my drafts so I might still pick him.

Auba dont get that many chances out on the wing. With Man C and Brighton I cant see a big haul and would never captain him. Pay 11 million for that?

    http://dailycannon.com/2020/06/tierney-to-start-arsenal-predicted-xi-vs-manchester-city/

No Saka start but Willock and Ceballos in front of Xhaka in midfield. Seems unlikely?

      Acrually wouldnt mind that

Saka cameo vs city then starts vs brighton

Willock scored in two of the warm up games. If we could know about possible gametime he'd be a nicely priced option.

My guess is Saka gets more minutes in the long and short term. He's been really really good while Willock can be hit and miss.

    Alright lads, rip this apart please and thanks;

    Leno Henderson
    TAA Targett Lascelles Lundstram Egan
KDB (C) Sterling Grealish El Ghazi Cantwell
    Auba Aguero Nketiah

Unsure of whether I want Henderson or Fleck as my third SU player, Cantwell would probably be the one to make way if Fleck came in.

Unlimited plus BB. Will WC GW31+

    Ederson / Leno
    TAA / Bellerin / O'Connell / Baldock / Lund (got him at 4m)
    Mane / Grealish / KDB / Barnes / Cantwell
    Auba / Vardy / Long

    Thoughts?

Looks good. I would prefer Nketiah to Long if going the cheap striker route, Bellerin an interesting choice - but I'd rather a Villa defender.

    Probably won't matter but

    A) Targett (SHU CHE)
    B) Saka (mci bha)

(Arsenal fan) I'd say Saka, but unsure on him starting now we've less injuries. But seems to be turning into our equivalent of a James Milner or BSilva where he could play anywhere.

Targett is safer bet for starting both games, could be a safe 4 points

I'd go A, purely on DGW. Plus I already have Pepe / Targett (and McGinn who started against WBA in small friendly)

yea that's what I'm thinking, DGW fever plus Samatta should be more nailed than McGinn. WCing straight after so not an issue but B just looks so much better on paper without the DGW haha...
