Digne benched as Doherty returns to Wolves side

It has transpired that Fantasy Premier League managers were worried about the wrong full-back ahead of Gameweek 24.

Lucas Digne (£5.3m) has suffered a surprise benching for Everton, as Marco Silva makes a few tweaks from the side that was put out of the FA Cup by Championship side Millwall.

FPL stalwart Leighton Baines (£5.0m) comes back into the side for the first time since Gameweek 4.

Meanwhile, the full-back that everybody else had been worrying about Matt Doherty (£5.2m) has returned to the Wolves side, with Jonny (£4.3m) moving back across to the left of midfield.

After garnering much attention with a Gameweek 23 hat-trick, Diogo Jota (£6.0m) keeps his place in the Wolves front line.

The West Ham side that has come to Molineux sees returns for Marko Arnautovic (£6.9m) and Robert Snodgrass (£5.1m).

Those who had gambled on Leroy Sané (£9.7m), Raheem Sterling (£11.3m) or Sergio Aguero (£11.3m) in the latest round of ‘Pep Roulette’ came up trumps as all three start for Manchester City at Newcastle.

Meanwhile, Fernandinho (£5.3m), Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) and David Silva (£8.5m) all get the nod in central midfield.

City’s rivals Manchester United have made a surprise change though with Romelu Lukaku (£10.7m) coming in for Anthony Martial (£7.3m), while Paul Pogba (£8.7m) and Marcus Rashford (£7.7m) hold onto their starting places.

Arsenal have gone with a front two once again with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.3m) and Alexandre Lacazette (£9.3m) leading the line.

As expected, the Gunners line-up with Shkodran Mustafi (£5.4m) and Nacho Monreal (£5.4m) at centre-back as they continue to be hit by defensive injuries.
