Have 0.5itb. Had a great start to the season and currently OR 60k. Team is looking great this week but really would like to get James in if he is declared fit. Is it too aggressive to do Saliba -> James?

I would rather go Chilwell unless you already have him.

Yeah that would possibly make the most sense but I'm still thinking that I'm going to bring in James in GW3 anyways so why not in GW2, especiall since his price is looking to rise. So I can't do Saliba > James directly without downgrading elsewhere if his price rises

I've moved Gabriel on for James as a double up with Chilwell. May be a week early but I know come week 3 I will want to transfer in an attacker like Jackson or Maddison so getting defence I will want now helps me plan for that

I’ve got Mings who is out long term - was thinking Cash as a replacement. He’s been a good asset in the past and had two shots on target against Newcastle. Fixtures not bad.

    Any better options at £4.5m??

Villa looked inept defensively after Mings went down, but they’ve got good fixtures. Colwill and Henry are both good options at that price point.

I expect Cash will play a more reserved role now with Pau LCB & Digne playing like winger. Also a chance he gets rotated (not currently in the predicted lineup on here).

Cash was shocking in the first game. Not sure the backup RB situation at Villa but I can’t see him starting anywhere near. 38 games for emery. Torres looked like he’d take some time to adjust too

I’d stick for now. Gabriel could be back in with Timber’s injury, Martinelli & Mitoma are both solid options with good fixtures for now, and Foden could play a much larger role with KdB down.

Morning. Struggling with who to bench…any thoughts to sway? Needs to be one of Mads, Rashford, Odegaard, Mbeumo or Pedro in my third striker position. I’m leaning to benching Pedro mainly because of the £ but can see any of them scoring. Also have Saka and Watkins but they’re nailed starters for me.

I suspect he’s done the Triad (acl, mcl and meniscus). I could have gone Henry or another 4.5 but my plan was to always get James in. Does mean I need a hit to bring in Maddison or Jackson but we’ll see.

I'll go Salah(c) I think it's a risk worth taking considering not many own him at all while I'll still have haaland at least

Newcastle very tough to break down and if city are leading by around 2 haaland might get taken off so that limits the big haul potential unless he is involved in all those goals

Good morning. I have Foden and I want to replace him with someone £7.0m or below.
However do I keep Foden ? After this weekend City have a great run of fixtures.
But Foden blocking a Reece James and £7.0m mid ?

    What do you recommend ?

Looking like the Maddison prospective new owners are gonna wait till after the deadline, not much movement for gameweek 2. Just one more sleep guys, then you can bring him in tomorrow night lol.

He's on +91.4 on fplstats currently, still think there's a good chance he rises tonight. The worst part of this not happening and happening tomorrow night is that it'd be done with him still not playing until the day after so could still go belly-up. Had him all week last week and changed to Odegaard late on so I'm already a step behind

Arteta in Pep mode this season!

Mikel Arteta: “In any position? No. 9, 7, 11, 6, goalkeeper - No.”

Mikel Arteta says there isn’t one player in the Arsenal squad that’s first choice.

    Turner
    Chilwell, Gabriel, Estupinan
    Saka, Rashford, Diaz, Maddison, Martinelli
    Haaland (c) Watkins

    Onana, Baldock, Archer, Beyer

Good plan. I can’t see James rising before deadline, but you never know.
