    Transfer advice needed please.

I have 2 FTs. Considering the following options:
    A) OUT: Rashford and Martinelli, IN: Maddison and Sterling. (Keep & bench Gabriel?! Feels wrong)
    B) OUT: Martinelli and Gabriel IN: Sterling and Botman (if not injured)
    C) OUT: Rashford and Gabriel, IN: Sterling and Botman (if not injured)
    D) OUT: Martinelli, Rashford and Gabriel (-4), IN: Sterling, Maddison, Botman/Schar(or any other defender you’d recommend)

Feels too early to WC. Any other suggestions?

    My team:

    Ederson
    Estupiñan - Gabriel - Colwill
    Saka - Martinelli - B. Fernandes - Rashford - Mitoma
    Haaland - Watkins

    £1.0m bank.

Sterling or Maddison, I had Maddison since gw1 and sold him this week because I thought he was injured, not only didn’t the player I bring in blank but Maddison went on and scored which was really annoying
Early days in the season, ready to take the L and bring in madders back if needed

It's a two transfer move so the hit is not just for him.

Just brought in Madds & Bowen to attack the fixtures ... sold Martinelli & Eze. Not saying Madds and Bowen are better long term but this week they have a better upside.

    Salah 'agrees' to Saudi move
Liverpool could soon be set to lose the services of star forward Mohamed Salah, with a number of claims suggesting hat he is closing in on a switch to Saudi Arabia.

According to beINSport, a deal has been agreed with Al-Ittihad. That would see Salah earn around £191million per season over the course of a three-year deal.

Asked about a move after yesterday's win over Newcastle, Jurgen Klopp said: "For me, it has [finished]."

Why? That money doesn’t get invested into your team, it’ll get invested into theirs and make them stronger.

If they get 150m or whatever it is, that’s fixing all their weak areas before the end of the window.

Spurs fans probably felt the same way about Kane, Arsenal with Henry, other players step out of the shadows.

The 07/08 Arsenal team was sensational & Spurs look really good right now.

BTW, a Kaneless Spurs team has scored 7 times this season, more than City & Arsenal who scored the most last season.

Do I understand from this that sales to Saudi can happen after 1st Sept (even if EPL can’t buy any players after that time)?

Glad I have 2FT and was already considering moving him then. It's a shame if true, I figured he had at least a few more years at the very top level

I’d tend towards the higher value player. Anyway, will Turner even be in goal?

Who to bring first on priority this gw for Rashford
    1) Maddison vs Burnley
    2) Sterling vs Nottingham

I am actually going to bring the other one for Mitoma next GW. So just for next GW who you think is priority?

Or is -4 worth to remove Rash + Mitoma..I was thinking of holding Mitoma once more as NewC will be all confidence less after that poor loss vs 10 men Liv

Just to be devil's advocate, what happens if you get another key injury in GW4? Will you take a hit to get 2 players?
Maddison will tick over nicely. Sterling probably bigger upside but more unpredictable. If I had to choose I'd go Maddison but I'm a dullard. 🙂

Who you think should be priority if you think only next GW between Sterling and Maddison. I am currently on Sterling as Maddison better player but tricky matches after 2 gws

Sterling or Maddison that is the question

Sterling could be a troll but he’s explosive

Maddison looks central in everything Spurs do in attack so he seems the more consistent source of points, what do you all think?

    1. Miniboss

I'm mulling over the same decision. I think I'll go with Sterling, but just because of his higher ceiling and fantastic fixtures. Chelsea doesn't still look great but he's been on fire since the start.

Maddison is an amazing pick, but I think he relies on assists while Sterling is more goal hungry.

I'll probably change my mind 100 times before deadline though...

I’ve got 3 Chelsea already which makes my decision simple! Can’t believe I had Gusto on the bench this week but will be rolling with double defence (and Jackson) next week.

    2. FOO FIGHTER

Maddison is the one, especially long term. Sterling is very tempting and I would like to get him in but have Jackson so may as well stick with him for now. Will see what happens.

Chelsea's fixtures are not great at all from GW9 to 15 so I want to concentrate elsewhere.

consider the points potential till then (GW 9) for Sterling.

Yea exactly double attack to much for a team that’s been rubbish for a while now. Happy to have Gusto for now and bench him to drop down to 2 assets in a few weeks.

Morning all. On a WC and have gone double Man City defence in Ederson and Gvardiol but should I get Alavarez in as was unlucky yesterday? Also would you include Jackson, my gut is going against him as didn’t look good v Luton until 2nd half but will get chance and good fixtures. Also my gut is normally wrong

    1. DandyDon
      • 5 Years

I have both but would go Jackson. Alvarez was good yesterday and can’t believe he didn’t pick up points but he wasn’t that good and could easily see Pep go with Foden and Silva instead next week.

Should we sell Onana for Areola? Saves a million and he and Turner (except week 6) have nice fixtures together

Ederson doesn’t make saves, this cost me at times last year. They’d need to get a CS every second week min and don’t think we can call how good the defence is yet.

    B) only one from above and save another ft
    C) Onana -> Flekken

    Onana
    Chilwell Estu Udogie
    Saka Odegaard Rashford Bruno Mbeumo
    Jackson Haaland

    Turner Gabriel Osula Kabore

I can kind of understand it due to the wealth of other midfielder options but it seems a bit premature to give up on him, especially now he seems to be back on the wing and Hojlund imminent. Seen drafts benching him which is not entirely unreasonable given the fixture.

You have so many midfield options now and I feel if any united player you should have it is bruno. Maddison/sterling/bowen/diaby all look as good if not better for alot cheaper price

From the weekends match again seems very much like he's been played out of position. For a 10 - 15min spell he played down the left and did well, apart from that he's been out of position and that's the reason I'm looking elsewhere

Spurs fixtures swing it for me. Even with Arsenal and Liverpool I think he’ll outscore Martinelli. He’s in great form.
