How Scout Membership can help Fantasy managers in 2019/20

Full-season Fantasy Football Scout subscriptions are still available for £17.50 – that’s the equivalent of less than 39p a week.

Over the years we have added to the benefits that our Members enjoy and we will be re-investing back into the site to enhance it further in 2019/20.

The most recent addition was the new Flat-Track Bully tool, which allows Members to conduct research in greater detail.

Using this new feature (pictured below) you can exclude/include certain teams (i.e. the ‘big six’) when scrolling through the various tabs in our Player Stats section.

This will help you identify players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams like Raúl Jiménez did in 2018/19.

We also recently put a call out for web developers and we have a number of other site improvements in the pipeline that will hopefully help our subscribers even more.

If you’re new to the benefits of Fantasy Football Scout membership, you can get full details, along with a series of movies previewing the content, via this page.

In 2018/19 we published more Members’ articles than ever before and there will be at least 150 such pieces in the 2019/20 campaign.

We also introduced Members-only comments and Hot Topics to allow for detailed discussions of content behind the pay-wall.

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools (below) have both been tweaked, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a recent Hot Topic.

Reigning Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy is a paid-up Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in a recent interview.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

We are hugely grateful to those who show their support by signing up as a Member each season. This continues to enable us to maintain the site, grow the Fantasy Football Scout team and develop more ideas.

Here are just some of the features you can enjoy as a subscriber:

Head-to-Head Comparisons

Compare both teams and players head to head.

Match Analysis

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots, chances created among other statistics.

Custom Stats Tables

Members can also create custom tables based on the data and share them with other subscribers (an example from last season is shown above).

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

Customisable Season Ticker

Sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well using our customisable Season Ticker.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a member here. A full FAQ on our Members’ Area is also available here.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the Members’ Area, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Murray or King for a budget striker?

Murray seems to be a good value for only 6.0m with a nice set of fixtures

He got 13 goals last season, and for 6.0m he looks tempting. I wonder if he will start every game though

Could be worth the risk, but would ensure to have at least 0.5 itb to upgrade him in case its a fail.

I think I nailed the puzzle! Tear it apart

    Ryan
    Robertson TAA Digne Zinchenko
Salah (C) Sterling (VC) Siggy Fraser
    King Deulofeu

    Subs: Button Greenwood Kelly Dendoncker

Only downside as I see it is no WIlson nor Vardy. But you can't have them all now, can you?

I'm in love with Digne. And personally I think Fraser is gonna outscore Wilson this year. But not confident!

But is viable option and sort of tempting to do Digne + Fraser + King --> Coleman + Brooks + Wilson..

Would just feel like im downgrading two players to upgrade one.

😀 no need to apologise for that!

I'm shaping up very similar tbh. I could downgrade Jorginho to Dendonker and do Moura > Siggy, but like the flexibility of a playable 5th mid on pens.

                Pope
                Coleman - TAA - Robertson - Zinchenko
                Moura - Brooks - Salah - Sterling
                Wilson - Deulofeu

                4m - Jorginho - Greenwood - Kelly

How often would you play Jorginho though? I think you should do it. Much rather have a nailed-on-and-in the-center-of-everything Siggy over Moura. Dedoncker is just a 2 pt safety in case of the odd rest.

But I like the team none the less. Very similar to mine as you said.

Basically its a question of King, Fraser and Digne vs Wilson, Brooks and Coleman. Don't think there will be much point difference in those two combinations. But you definetely got me thinking. So thanks for that

I am also very likely to switch Ryan to Pope at some point. But 3 home games in 5 for Brighton is just too tempting to ignore.

If I go with Greenwood up top, then I will want an alternative 5th mid I can actually play. Who knows when we'll be surprised with rotation.

Noble, Norwood and potentially Jorginho all on pens @ 5m.

If I end up going with Origi, say, then Dendonker is fine as a 5th mid.

My last dilemma is Fraser in a 4-4-2 or TAA in a 5-3-2. Either should get close to 200 but I’m not sure I want a 4.5 mid coming on when Trent gets a rest. Any thoughts ?

    Good evening everyone,
First draft looking for any feedback.

    Ryan

    VVD. Digne. AWB.

    Fraser. Siggy. Gross. Salah.

    Wilson. Aguero. Deulofeu.

    Button, Dendoncker, Simpson, Kelley.

Liking Gross as a differential especially with fixtures.

Not sure that I need both Fraser and Wilson but great fixtures.

Going back and forth with Aguero.

    Bench is poor I know.

    Nothing in bank.

Kane will explode at some point in the season with back to back breaches or a hattie and everyone will correctly rush to get him in. The problem is that he was patchy in the extreme last season, has been a notoriously slow starter and doesn't seem to be playing as an out and out no. 9 with Spurs.

He's still quality though and is arguably underpriced if he starts bashing them in.

Exciting season ahead for Spurs. I’m worried about the full back position though...
Would Sessegnon be that great as a Rose replacement? He wasn’t that great at Fulham last season.

This season is too hard to start with,
Forward line seems with great dilemma
Desperately want Wilson (for his fixtures),Vardy(for his form)
Premium : auba ( for first two fixtures) then switch back to kane(for his good runs)
Finally we have to end with budget forwards like king Jota deulofeu for premium super midfielders Salah & Sterling.

I can't go past with Vardy & Wilson to start the season,so need suggestions for this squad:

    4-4-2

    Pope/Ryan

    TAA VVD zinchenko Monreal

    Salah KDB Fraser Siggurdson

    Vardy Wilson

    Bench-F-o-d-d-e-r (as template)

Ah I see. You could compromise and go Walker & Siggy. Or possibly Zinchenko if he's looking like a sure starter and have an extra 0.5 to chuck on the bench to cover his rotation risk?

Walker scored almost the same points as Eriksen, Son, Sane, Anderson, Zaha & Richarlson for up to 3.5 million cheaper. I'd say a city double up in defence is worth it.

Do you think this squad represents a reasonable use of the 'no-Sterling' money?

    Ederson
    TAA Robbo Zinchenko Coleman
    Salah KDB Siggy Fraser Jorginho
    Vardy

    Button Dunk Greenwood Nketiah

I like it. Personally I’d do cheaper keeper and upgrade Nketiah. But it’s looking good

I’ve gone very similar with lloris in goals and brooks ahead of Fraser which frees up 1.5. With that extra money up top.

Do you think Brooks will play every game? He looks a good shout with PPG just behind Fraser, just not sure about his minutes.

Sorry for the late reply. I think he will. Had a massive season last year and I expect him to build on it. I expect maybe the odd 60m sub off but I expect at least starting every game.

A team with just 1 big hitter shouldn't have Jorginho in it for me

Fraser to Brooks and Jorginho to, say, Grealish an improvement?

4.5 keeper and swap jorginho for Perez? Or one of King/Jota/Deulo?

Have noticed zinchenko name much more the past few days. Have the friendlies given us more confidence in him being the first choice?

from what i know ,mendy is not fit and angelino has played really poor in the pre season games, so I would hope zinchenko starts

I'm thinking of punting on Wesley Moraes (Villa) as a super-sub/rotation candidate. Could somebody talk me about of it / give me supportive pat on the back please?

    As second Liverpool defender:

    A) Matip
    B) Gomez
    C) Neither

    Sigurdsson v Richarlison....

Bearing in mind each of the last 2 seasons Richarlison started off with a bang, are people overlooking him just cos Sigurdsson (probably) will be on pens ?

It doesn't seem entirely certain that Salah will start against Norwich, and that dratted site that used to provide last-second truth about Pool's lineups have clammed up. When/how will we know if Salah's a cert to start GW1?

Salah will start because mane won't. There is no way they'd go in to the first game of the season with neither.

Not sure about pope yet, will get whoever seems nailed closer to time.
Vvd would mean no City defence…...confused. Cheers

Could always swap Coleman with Zinchenko if you want City defense that badly.
