Last chance to get FFScout Premium Membership for pre-season price

Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of Â£17.50 â€“ but time is running out on this offer.

Subscriptions will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 after August 31 so, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

SIGN UP FOR THE NEW SEASON HERE

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are offering rolling monthly subscriptions for just £2.99 per month.

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (from all of our Career Hall of Fame top three to the returning Mark Sutherns) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £2,500-worth of prizes in the 2020/21 campaign – more details of that available here.

Our video below runs down just some of the benefits that subscribers will enjoy in 2020/21 and previews what you can expect the Premium Members Area to look like after its makeover:

WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame top three Fábio Borges, Stephen Harrap and Darren Wiles, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

Is it strange to buy to strengthen the bench and boost depth? 🙂 Look at the likes of City in this regard. We need to catch up. Depth is key. Lingard/Pereira were the alternatives to Bruno lmao.

Of course it's good to strengthen but you could do with actually having some strength in other positions before you sign someone who plays where your best players do

You aren’t buying a £49 mill bench warmer in this climate. I have no idea where he’s going. Personally feel he’s the 10 now with Fernandes maybe right or left with rashford and martial up the middle. Greenwood loses out in my eyes

      1. UnitedFan
        • 8 Years
        3 years, 8 months ago

37.5m + bonuses isn't that much money. We're still looking at Sancho too so he'll take Greenwood's place if anybody does.

Ouch, that's a shame after the season he's just had post-lockdown. He'll probably look for a move if that really is the case, or at least a loan to get regular first team action.

Seems odd to spend £40m on a bench warmer, you'd think you'd want an upgrade for that amount money in this year's market. Utd often baffle me though. Will be interesting to see how Ole lines up.

Squad depth is absolutely essential. No players coming off the bench that you would be confident are game changers.

        1. Guba
          • 8 Years

Agree that depth is incredibly important and for that I suppose it’s a reasonable signing but you’d think you could good benchers for a better deal.

If you’re being told you can’t afford your main targets who are actual upgrades for the main minutes played each game £40m is a lot to then spend on the bench. They could have had Ziyech for that much and they’ve wanted w right winger for a while.

Reasonable? Incredibly astute signing. League, cups + CL he will get plenty of gametime with ability to cover Bruno, Pogba and at DM.

The number one target is Sancho but that seems to be on ice until an agreement can be reached. Seemingly going to drag and a more complicated deal at approx 100 million sterling.

    Which is better please chaps?

    A. Doherty Vinagre in a 442 with a 4.5 mid and 4.0 def on the bench
    B. Dier ASM in a 352 with two 4.5 defender's on the bench

It's doubtful you'll need two extra defenders that definitely play so I'd get a 4m defender and upgrade Dier to someone like Tierney or ASM to someone like Trossard.

Don’t understand Manchester Ltd signing Donny Van Der Beek. He plays AM/CM but surely can’t play with Pogba & Bruno. There’s no balance. It’s just a signing to get the fans onside but not what they need.

Greenwood is too young to play week in week out. I think the 3 behind martial switch positions throughout the game. Fernandes can play anywhere and has done in games. Greenwood is a striker not a right winger, it was just a position of need at the time

and Greenwood excelled when given the chance, I'd certainly rather have him right inside forward than either Bruno or van de Beek, it wouldn't surprise me if Ole tries VDB and Pogba behind Bruno then acts surprised when we get relentlessly countered.

Not trolling at all, genuinely feel that Fernandes May start on the right, left or centre behind martial and they switch around throughout the game. Just the way I’ve written it I suppose. How are you going to fit VDB in a balanced team?

Well you’d hope this isn’t the case and they genuinely have a plan on how he’s going to fit. I’d be amazed whilst money is tight in this current climate they’d just buy for the sake of it. If this is the case you’d ask why not just save the money and generate funds to get Sancho over the line who is their number 1 target

If this ends up being their only signing then it might show that they didn't want to pay Dortmund's asking price but felt obliged to buy someone with the transfer money they set aside.

Nah, have not used rotating keepers since Krul appeared for Newcastle.
Plus keepers can end up getting more points facing big sides. Number of save points and maybe even pen save.

The "I want 2 Manchester players but don't want to spaff my WC in GW2" draft:

    McCarthy
    TAA // Davies // Vinagre // James
    Salah c // Son // Ziyech // Saka

    Steer // Mitchell // Martial // Foden

They bought a right winger in Torres(?) and plenty of their players can play Silva's position.

James is an overlooked value pick imo so fair play. If Ziyech injury has bad impact do you have another in mind? As someone else said Saka is a risky pick considering that Pepe, Willian, Nelson, Auba and any others are probably going to be rotated in that winger spot. My very personal opinion is that Mitro will not live up to expectations but that is a gamble that I would not advise anyone else to take lol.

Read some replies ''dont double up on Saints defense'' in this case McCarthy + Walker-Peters.

I look at GK in isolation,i think McCarthy would do better than Ryan and would pick Walker-Peters anyway.

    My question is,does it matter?

    1. Bartowski

I think the problem is do you always feel obliged to play WP if McCarthy is your only playing keeper in marginal games as it can get quite annoying when you make the wrong decision.

Buying McCarthy will not reduce Walker-Peters' points. Pretty sure about that...

The only case against it is "risk management". But I'm not sure I understand what that means... I think it's mostly psychological.

I think I don't trust Southampton defensively and maybe I should, cleansheets seemed so random last season for most teams, the only ones I trusted at various points were Liverpool, Sheff Utd, Wolves and Burnley.

If you're really convinced by those two players ahead of others that will start at other clubs with a better to or at least equal chance of keeping clean sheets then go ahead. I can only imagine that the GK position is being picked mainly on McCarthy making good saves even if clean sheets can be unpredictable. KWP is a riskier one imo and I think that there are other options at the same price point. However, Southy could really click into gear this year even without Hojbjerg so maybe it's worth a shot.

I think of "heavy hitter" as synonymous with "captain option". Which are mostly 10m+, although sometimes a player slips through because they were underpriced (e.g. Bruno).

Your "reply" either doesnt understand the problem or pretending not to. So spare us the red herring of how many clicks.

The reason that companies force feed customers this auto-renewal is because a large percentage of people succumb to inertia or forget to cancel at the end of the time period.

Whatever - the fact is THAT is why companies do it - they know that people forget. It's a cynical attempt to increase sales at people's expense. It's immoral.

This is the kind of practice that big media companies follow. I see no reason to give my money to a small company that can't even respect its own users.
