      Areola not nailed
      Zinchenko injured
      Bell not nailed
      Jackson not nailed

Neither, wouldn't double up on Brighton defence, they concede a lot and Pedro also not nailed.

Hmmm I'd be wary of either, Foden uncertainty but I am considering him, City are by far the best attacking team, Trossard likely to start on the bench a lot

Y’all complain about template teams and content creators driving templates yet whenever someone posts a differential team on here many people immediately call out their differentials and recommend they switch them to template players

    1. TheBiffas

There's nothing wrong with a differential but sometimes there is a good reason why they're so low-owned, and OP may not know about it.

I agree. I would never tell a poster to change a team, if I think it is a good alternative option that many have not thought of. Unless it is very likely that the player may not start.

I still remember one from years ago that I ended up changing based on constant 'advice' it still annoys me that I caved in.

Naismith was playing for Everton flying in preseason 5m. I kept been told to change him. He kept his place and was flying for the first 8 game weeks or so, with assists and goals

Few are going to keep any of them for the whole season though.

I think Watkins over the season - settled side definite starter and on pens.
Jackson could eat into Nkuku's bonus points - Gakpo and Nunez will be sharing minutes.

A personal feeling essentually based on what I have seen in football in my life. I simply think he's the best centerforward of the three by a massive distance, and just needed a period of time to understand how to move and how to beat defenders, in a few words how to adapt to Premier League football. Which I believe he is extremely suited for. He scores for fun when he enjoys playing, he has always done so. He's a potential Haaland.

With Slobby behind him, he really could be. Or he could be last season'd Darwin. With Jesus and Nkunku in my GW1 squad, I'm ready with a sideways transfer if he comes out the blocks running.

    TAA Gabriel Estupinan

Yeah I originally had Eze over Mbeumo, but I think the gutting of the team + Hodgson ball might be an issue. Even if Olise stays he'll be out until like October, and he was key to Eze's success last season.

They both look good but Brentford look poor/not themselves so far.
Mbeumo up top as a 2 with Wissa yesterday, which is what I want to see. And he isn't returning during pre-season so his own% might drop, which is also good.

Yeh, Bees not kicked into gear yet. Despite the fuss over Mbeumo's price early doors, I don't have either. I'm more interested in Flekken and Henry, although they've both fallen out of my current draft.

I frankly do not have good vibes at all over the Bees' season. Wissa's a decent shout, could score 10-12 of which a 50% of tap-ins, but I'm afraid we'll see a far less scoring side at least as far as Toney's comeback, and probably some time after.

Like in terms of percentage owned, below which figure could be classed as a differential?

    1. Zimo

Anything that's not the template really.

        I've got Saliba. He's not 'template', but he's 15% owned. I don't consider him a differential.

He is a differential tho. So many people don't have him.

Tbf this would matter more in attack though. Cuz defenders share clean sheets. So I guess he's not. But then Martinelli at a similar percentage is.

Generally 5% although some have it as high as 10%

On the flip side Joao Pedro only 4.8% owned (Pinnock 1.8%) but in loads of RMTs on here.

This site is a microcosm of how many play the game.

Last year's points total will be a key metric and possibly autoselect the final few players for now.

Stones for higher minutes, for me.
Chelsea have 2 CBs out injured, so he looks highly likely to start GQ1 at least.

Exactly. That's why I don't ask for RMTs. It's effectively asking for sheep to help you be more template, as if you can't figure that out for yourself.

A team based on pre-season and upside only! Downside risk is just ignored because why not 🙂 Is it truly awful, or just regular awful? 1m itb.

    Flekken 4.0
    TAA - Stones - AWB - Botman - Udogie
    Saka - Trossard - Richarlison - Foden - Enciso
    Haaland - Darwin - Jackson

I like it, except I would get a 4m instead of Botman (bit early to get Newcastle defence) us the .5 to upgrade Encisio or Darwin. I would get Watkins instead of Darwin.

    Thoughts on this ?

    Flekken
    Gabriel, Estu, Shaw

    Bentley, Chilwell, Baldock, Archer

Oo KDB. Not sure I have the courage to go there myself but if he is fit he could be an amazing differential

    2. ZAWAd25

KDB the obvious issue but could easily make that rashfor or son too to keep the place open for KDB when / if back and fit

My current shortlist is below, anyone obvious missing? Anyone you fancy as a differential?

    GK: Onana, Leno, Pickford

Def: TAA, Stones, Ake, White, Gabriel, Zincenko, Chilwell, Estupnian, Trippier, Burn, Porro, Mee

Mid: KDB, Foden, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka, Salah, Jota, Rashford, Bruno, Encisco, Mitoma, Mbuemo, Solomon, Eze, Andreas, Son, Sterling

Fwd: Haaland, Alvarez, Jesus, Ferguson, Wissa, Wilson, Awonyi, Watkins, Nkunku, DCL, Joao Pedro

Shaw still worth getting in defense.
Diaz, Maddison in midfield worth considering.
Nicolas Jackson is tentatively in my team. Has had a really good preseason. 7.0m is a good price.

Shaw is a good call, Diaz I just really don't fancy at all, Maddo makes sense to add too as does Jackson, he's been impressive in pre-season. Thanks

One of the Liverpool mids who isn't Salah is going to become an option. Could be Jota, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac. But one of them will emerge I think.

Szoboszlai could become an early bandwagon.

Anyone who scores 2 in the first 3 will be in teams for gw4!

Got my eye on Jota stats wise of those 4, the fact he can press I think makes him first choice on the left? Especially givem his comments again about Darwins inability to do so. Will have to see.

I'd say you got most of the obvious ones.

      Some punts maybe worth monitoring:

AWB - 4.5m who looks to be first choice with plum home fixtures, who's been great in preseason while offering a little more attacking threat than before.
Colwill - 4.5m Looks to be starting the season for a cheap way into the Chelsea defence with those great fixtures.
Maddison - Looks to be playing the "Eriksen role" from the Friendlies I've seen, shooting a tonne in a Spurs team who seem they're adopting the philosophy of we'll score more than you will and should be involved in the set pieces.
Mudryk/Gallagher - One to monitor for mins like Sterling, but they seem to be getting in good positions and involved in preseason, for those great fixtures come GW2/3
Jackson - Same as the Chelsea mids, but also looks to be playing further forward than Nkunku as the striker and looks great.
Richarlison - Heavily involved in the goals in Preseason, classified as a Midfielder, attacking team, could be OOP if Kane leaves, could force himself into the team regardless if he continues to get further in the managers good books.
Sancho - Until United sign a striker and even till he becomes imbedded into the team, he could be OOP at striker and scored a nice goal to go with his good performance in his friendly.

Thanks for this reply, much appreciated. AWB worries me with Dalot rotation.Good call on Colwill, Maddo and Mudryk, will add those, Mudryk if he nails down a first team place could be very interesting in his second season. Not so sure about gallagher. Jackson good shout too. Can't bring myself to add Richarlson unless/until Kane goes and they dont sign anyone to replace him. Sancho is a no go for me.
