Tbh the only thing that makes me sort Gabriel is price drop…have Udogie so could easily play him or even Gabriel as he should play at least the next game

    Looking for a Brentford defender.

Any reason not to go save that £0.1m and go Pinnock over Henry ?

Both ended up on 112 points last season. Rico got an assist this season but Pinnock swept up the baps.

I'm looking at Porro as my Gabriel replacement. Bit of a differential, likes a shot.

Decent punt or too risky for rotation?

Not clear who Ange is favouring at RB. Emerson started GW1 so Porro is a rotation risk. Edogie would be the pick from spurs defence

Need a little advice here if possible. Who are the priorities to transfer out?

    A. Gabriel
    B. Pedro
    C. Bruno
    D. Martinelli
    E. Richarlison
    F. Rashford

I have money the bank. Considering just B (to Jackson / Wissa) and then save a transfer to reassses for GW4.

Yeah. Maybe Jackson is just another Richarlison. I assumed a 9 playing for a traditionally top 6 team would be a decent option. Been a terrible decision vs Mitoma, Mbeumo etc.

I can understand why you made the choice though. Just been unlucky.

          I'd be going for either:

          Pedro > Wissa/Isak
          Martinelli > Mbeumo/Saka

Rashford and Bruno would be next on my list. If anything use 1FT this week then you can use 2FT to ship out the United players before Arsenal.

Got Saka, didn't mention him earlier as no plans to move him on. Isak is an interesting move, Liverpool have looked porous.

I like the 1FT and reassess GW4 when more fixtures turn. Thanks for your input.

Well it depends if you're a cautious or adventurous FPL manager. I'm tempted to back my hunch and get ahead of the game rather than potentially miss points and price rises. Could well backfire, of course.

Should also add I'm getting him for Joao Pedro, who can't be risked as a starter now, so really it's not a particularly adventurous transfer in this case.

  12. Arteta
    • 8 Years
    9 months, 10 days ago

Besides Arteta, would people like to guess who also had no clue the change of penalty taker was going to happen? Yeah, that's right, their goalkeeper. He fully expected Bukayo to take it, so he prepared and studied for him and maybe Jorginho, who is a well-known specialist. It was evident from the moment Martin stepped up and grabbed the ball. Johnstone looked anxious, scared, and unprepared for it. The switch worked, and that's all that matters.

Odegaard oozes confidence and is the club's captain. Every time he took a penalty during the pre-season, he executed it perfectly. The only ones complaining are those who are mad, sad, or bitter about the lack of FPL points for their picks. Most Arsenal fans were totally fine with this decision.

Yeah I really don’t care about who takes it football wise, it’s only interesting in terms of FPL, and would apply it to every club tbh

I mean, this is a fantasy football site, not an Arsenal forum.

Obviously, people are going to care/whinge/celebrate about their teams here, especially if they're taking the time to post.

I know that; I'm just explaining it from my point of view as I understood it and what I thought about it as a fan. It's a site and a forum, and we can open debates about almost every topic, as you said. I think that sharing similar paragraphs makes a greater contribution to the community than the troll, cry, or brainless posts with zero insight from yesterday. If nothing else, it might at least open some people's eyes to the fact that no one should feel entitled to anything.

Tough one as Watkins is always a threat, just hasn't happened for him yet. Saying that with the state of Liverpools midfield I could see Newcastle running riot. I think I'd probably roll but you should go with your gut on Watkins transfer as either would be a good move

Lots of problems to sort out, what would you prioritise first? Is it worth taking a hit

    2FT 0itb

    Pickford
    Gabriel/ Chilwell / Estupinan
    Saka / Rashford / Bruno / Martinelli / Maddison
    Watkins / Haaland

    Turner | Baldock | Kabore | Mubama

    Players on the chopping block:
    Gabriel
    Pickford
    Bruno
    Rashford
    Maddison (if confirmed injured)

Which move looks better here considering prices and fixtures/form etc..

    1. Pedro-> Wissa (can't afford more expensive options for now).
    2. Watkins-> Jackson.

1 and it's not even close. Watkins looks good. Crazy to sell him now

    1) Alvarez
    2) Wissa
    3) Jackson

I'm thinking this is the order of preference going forward for people bringing in a striker this gw. Close call though

    Anyone agree? Or disagree?

Isak should be in there regardless of shared minutes with Wilson. Man City away was their most difficult fixture all season and I fancy him to score really well. Think he is being overlooked.

Jackson is a bad pick for me, people just pushing his name because they need/want him to be good.

Agree with the Jackson thing. He doesn't look like he can finish his dinner. I know it's Luton but he still has to put the ball between the posts

Yeah Isak is a great pick but I'd rather get a chance of 90 to 100 mins out of my playerd for now

    Pickford (Turner)
    Saliba Chilwell Estupi (Shaw Baldock)
    Saka Salah Bruno Mitoma (Nakamba)
    Haaland Alvarez Pedro

    2FT-s

    a) find a way to bring in Mbuemo, Jackson and/or Wissa in
    b) stick with Bruno, Pedro etc.
