FPL 2023/24: Player prices released from Monday

44 - think this will be my seventh season - I came to the game late.

To be honest whilst I have a core group of friends who love sport and football, no one is into FPL. That is frustrating, hence my turning to this site despite my general hatred of social media etc

42 and this season coming will be my 14th consecutive season playing FPL! Only taken it 'seriously' the last 4 or 5 seasons though.

I’m 42 and going into my 13th season of FPL.
I love all sports, travelling and there’s nothing more I enjoy than long evening walks along the beach with my dog ( unless my captain has blanked 🙂 )

45 years old. First form of fantasy football was back in 1994 with Shoot magazine and a forward line of Klinsmann, Fowler and Collymore gave me a 43rd place finish overall. Played many different fantasy footy games since before settling on the official FPL game in 2012

29 and across different emails (you'll understand why in a moment) I've been playing for around 17-18 years - no I didn't have a clue what I was doing really at the start... 😀

Haha would be fun to guess people's ages but that's probably going to descend into another nuked thread...

I'm 38 & this coming season will be my 3rd playing FPL. Guess I was a bit more focussed on the Championship til Leeds got promoted then started FPL the next season. Also hadn't really thought about fantasy sports much til I started fantasy IPL during lockdown

54, started eith the daily telegraph in 95 I think, moved to NZ in 96 and actually bought the weekly telegraph so I could keep playing and that was making transfers by phone! Never missed a season, yet still the most challenging part is finding a new team name each year.

40 years young here!! Been playing since the 2008/2009 season!!! Back then chicken did really taste like chicken!!! Haha

Woah, I never thought I'd be one of the younger managers here. I'm 24 and next season should be my 11th playing fpl.

I'm 59, started in the 2008/09 season. I remember playing in the early nineties - the player points were published in the Irish Independent newspaper every Monday morning. One of the guys in the office would spend an hour or two updating a long spreadsheet with the results, while we eagerly waited to see the updated league table. Fun times.

37. I played Telegraph in high school with mates, so 2003/4 season. Profile I use shows 2008/09 as first season but I played a variants with other emails since A-levels I guess!

41, started playing in the 06/07 season but only started playing properly in the last 6 years, Before that I used to go out on Friday nights and not wake up in time to change my team. Never achieved the holy grail of a top 10k finish but have been close a few times over the last few years. This year is going to be my year right?!

Old enough. Never played seriously just enjoy the game

41, this will be year 16 in this game, although played the DT game in my teens, and can remember the Fantasy football TV programme with Frank Skinner

35. Play fantasy since 9 years ago.. but in real life I'm a coach and football manager for kids under 12. Have been a manager for futsal team too, open category.

A P.E teacher, won some tournament in disctrict. Regular face in final :p

I’m 861 years old and came to the game late in life in 2007 or 2008. Prior to FPL I used to just travel the land competing in jousting tourneys. Sometimes I would slay dragons but I know a few of them now and we’ve become friends. I well remember the feeling of superiority having done mine research and transferring in Chelsea’s Yuri Zhirkov.

33 yrs old. Started with the telegraph through my dad.

Was so young I remember always building from the back because of the way the lists ordered the positions.

Never had enough money for strikers. Original ‘big at the back’.

50, and I think 12 or 13 years.

Some old buggers on here then. Good to know. I’m 55 and 3/4 and been playing FPL for about 20 years.

66, and like others I started with the Telegraph back in the mid-90s. One of our guys developed an Access database, and we'd religiously type in 400+ scores every Wednesday when they were published. That old work league is still going, although several of us are now retired.

Naughty 40 and feeling every year of it and more these days! Just ordered a standing desk though, maybe that will help and also enhance my FPL performance.

Been playing 15 seasons but only taking it seriously last 4 or 5, with considerably better ranks accordingly. 501 my best. Ideally, I would expunge the earlier ones from the record but it is what it is and not quite lame enough to start a new account.

58 years old and I first played it in 2006/07 which I think is when it started.

21st season coming up

Howdy, I’m 67 and been playing for 17 years. Living in Oz it’s sometimes a little tricky with the time difference but we soldier on. Worst finish this year 1.2 million, Previous worst was 440k. I think many struggled this year but you have to laugh. It’s gotta be fun or you are going to be in a bad place. Good luck to you
