Anyone who watches Palace games closely?

I know most have gone with Eze, dont ask me why but I decided Olise.

Can it be the better choice or he isnt involved in the attacks as much as Eze?

      Went Bowen instead

I changed from Eze to Olise late enough on. Everton have a real problem down the flanks looking at highlights from their last few games so I expect him to get some joy. Could go either way. Nice to have a former Reading man in the side anyway, did me well when I had him before

Not much between them. Olise higher assist potential, Eze more goal threat.

      Palace fan here.

Maybe the better choice this week. Everton gets attacked down the flanks apparently.

Olise on all corners, and most free kicks if it is a cross. 50/50 with Eze when direct.

      Good pick

Don't fancy Arsenal will keep a clean sheet. Defensive stats have been poor since the restart, half of the league has conceded less goals than Arsenal in that time and xGA per 90 is nearly 1.3

Even if he does that and concedes he wouldn't be getting much more than a defender getting a clean sheet (or if a goal then cs + bonus)

  11. Ze_Austin

That was intense on here. Went with:

    Johnstone
    White Trent Moreno
    (V)Martinelli (C)Salah Eze Gakpo Ramsey
    Jesus Watkins
    .
    Sa Kane Guehi Semedo

Switched Jota to Gakpo with Firmino's confirmed absence, and hopefully for the clean sheet point and extra goal point. That's the only change all week, as I couldn't really justify other changes as clearer than 50:50. Son became Kane on the bench. Avoiding matches that I can't call on the FH

Up to 676k from 1.6m. FH32 is the last chip

    . Provisional Plan .

    Raya
    Trippier Estupinan Schar
    Salah Mitoma Grealish March Rashford
    (C)Haaland (V)Watkins
    .
    Kepa Kane Chilwell White

    GW33: roll FT
GW34: Chilwell + Kepa to Trent + Iversen
    GW35: Raya to DDG
    GW36: Roll FT
    GW37: Trippier to Shaw
GW38: Grealish (won't trust Pep on last day) + March to Martinelli + Eze

Always ready to adapt the plan, of course. I've gone cold on triple City via a defender, and now want Trent while keeping White through the tough games (probably start him vs Newcastle, even). Getting double Man U defence late because I don't trust 'em enough in their current state to dive in for GW34 vs Brighton and Villa. Completely cold on Chelsea, so those two spots will go first

Good luck, one and all 🙂

      Good luck mate.

Now i am ruing when my FH was used by FPL Towers GW15, with the Haaland fiasco week.

The same happened to Marcus Carlsson as well so he is not playing seriously this year after that.

World Cup restart got me going, but this week has been tough.

      Raya (DDG)
      Trippier, Botman, Zouma, TAA, (Henry)
Salah (c), Saka, Martinelli, (Mitoma, Rashford)
      Kane, Watkins, Eduoard.

GW33 Kane to Haaland Saka to March) -4
GW34 Martinelli to Grealish, Henry to Stones. -4 Maybe Watkins to Jota -8 or Brighton Striker.
      GW35 Raya to Steele
      GW36 Watkins to Isak
      GW37/38 we will see.

      Good luck. Cheers

Yeah he's talking about the next 2 weeks (5 games), not just about Forest. Your timestamp is perfect to demonstrate this, thanks.

And you posted without providing context. I let it go until I saw this post complaining about people doing the same thing.

You even told someone else to provide the interviewer's question as necessary context minutes before you posted yours without the context.

Just pointing it since you see it as a problem

Why didn't you just make a polite correction earlier rather than trying to deliver some sort of comeuppance? Ok he made a mistake but Tony is usually super reliable & its not really fair to compare his post with Jesus rumours

I politely pointed it out above.

And he didn't accept it was a mistake, so then I corrected him. Get off yer high horse mate. You've been following me around a bit of late, countering a lot of what I say for the sake of it. Why not take a leaf out of your own book.

It's great if Tony is usually reliable. I'll take note of it.

All I recall is giving you a couple of A/B answers & disliking one suggested move last week.

I really don't have any problem with you besides the fact that you seem unnecessarily combative at times (but not especially with me, til now apparently)

think for this game it might be better for someone with creativity. Don't really need 2 sitting mids I think. Trossard would have been nice but Vieira is probably decent for this game

My team not changed until i went White over Jesus, Trippier out and Kane in. I've decided that when being 700k and a Liverpool supporter i want Kane to score so Newcastle can lose points. I don't want to cheer on Trippier getting a cs when i want them to lose. With outcome on FPL being close to irrelevant.

As long as Arsenal don't try to walk the ball into the net, this could be a cricket score. Bazunu's Shot Avoidance stats are incredible.

He's a good shot stopper, so actually working the ball into the box will likely bear more fruit

Nah. Don't forget that this is the guy who actually assisted Grealish for his goal and then jumped out of the way of Alverez's penalty a couple of weeks ago.

Lol true. What I mean is he's a very agile goalkeeper, so will get to long range shots I think. He's terrible at everything else tho - positioning, decision making, handling, bravery etc so a bit of quick offensive interplay (which Arsenal are great at anyway) will expose him.

        He very much isnt

Ranked worst in the league by a long way and this is relative to what an average goalkeeper should save.

Yeah read about this earlier - I think his xGC is a better measure of his ability though (which the linked site doesn't capture but FPL does), as takes quality of chance into account. His xGC is 44 and he's conceded 53 - so poor keeper and poor defence. Allison also has an xGC of 44 but has conceded 36 - poor defence but exceptional goalkeeper.

So yes he's terrible overall, just don't play to his one strength!

Was reading some tactical articles this week and one was talking about how holding coming in has put additional pressure on arsenal from a defensive perspective and causing white to drop back a little more and tuck into support the defence a bit more.

Impact of this is it means saka is easier to occupy as white is not as progressive in all attacks. Not so much bursting getting in the box but more occupying defenders with overlaps on the wing.

Maybe it has some merit. I’ll be watching closely today but holding coming in does seem to have seen a drop in saka form

Interesting take. Does make sense, it is quite a downgrade — all due respect to Holding.

I’m also interested in whether Jesus starting again is bad news for Saka. I started the season with Saka over Martinelli and it didn’t work out for me, then Saka had a great run of form, a lot of which was when Jesus was out, and now he’s dropped off again. Could be coincidence but another aspect to monitor.
