      Basically it is a lottery and the fact Liverpool, Everton, and Man United have such nice fixtures on paper makes little sense to get Man City this early. I am bit tempted by Mahrez though at some stage.

        Well i guess it's just a way of adding something unique to the season. It's always spoken about how high up some dead teams are ranked so if everyone puts in a purposely created dead team, it will be interesting to follow!

        How are we all doing rank wise in Euro fantasy?

        I have 172 points at 73k overall, with Gosens and Havertz to play today and wildcard still for later on.

        Had a good first week but awful second week. Good week again this week to pull it back a bit.

        Where are you aiming to finish? Got any chips left?

        What is your strategy for the knockout rounds?

        I'm possibly going to have 3 Italian defenders in the next round. Then possibly play wildcard at quarters or semis.

          I guess top 1k will be a good finish but I dont have any chips left, so top 50k will do the job.

          Strategy is to go all out on teams which play easier games and avoid double or triple ups in other games.

          Italy for now, will get 4 players. Only one from Wales vs Denmark.

        Long story short, I'm due to get a massive(for me) win if Spain and France can win their groups.

        Spain maybe looks the least likely, that pen miss on sat was a heart breaker!

        Options are:
        A) stick it out, pick up 1.1k if it happens
        B) can cash out now for about 360.
        C) can leave it as is, and if neither win tonight, I'll pick up a minimum 100,be a bit more if 1 of them win.

            They are all the same, basically its a lucky 63( had never heard of it) but I picked all group winners, and it covers loads of others, like singles, doubles etc.
            Should say the initial outlay was 160, so c probably means I'd lose 60, rather than make 100 if that makes sense.

          Weghorst is the only sub for Malen and Depay, the trio Gini/Memphis/Malen got a lot of praise and Weghorst will only come of the bench when Holland are behind, such is the general concensus in Holland.

          I like the Bowen pick one I did not consider. I am curious why you have gone Dunk instead of Lamptey though.

          I assume the 1.5m in the bank is to make changes for value players that arise during the first few weeks.

            Dunk is captain, will play 90,got 5 goals last term, can still change though

              It looks very solid on paper Ineanacho could be a question mark, but I assume he pushing for starts most games now. I assume the bench is very weak though. I planned a similar team to yours 3-4-3 except nothing in the bank or on the bench. All in double livepool defence etc
              Your approach seems more prudent with the 1.5m in the bank.

                  Whoops sorry I meant I created an initial 4-3-3 draft with

                  With nothing on the bench two 4.5 mids and a 4.0 defender and GK.

                  But for some reason I did not really like the look of it. Maybe I am blinded by how I was stung two years ago. When I went treble liverpool defence v Norwich - Alisson got injured and liverpool conceded worse still I captained TAA

                  So I have now swtiched to a way more balanced squad

                  I might take a risk on getting Henderson - If I do not I will get Shaw instead of Ayling.

                  Mainly because I became very tempted by the value and variety in the 6.5m midfielders.

                  Initially I did think of getting Toney in a 3-4-3 like you suggest. But I am not sure about him and would prefer to use that 1m on the 6.5m mids. It all hinges on whether Joao Pedro is a starter. I did a bit of research and he is very versatile, had a good season and can play on the wing or upfront.
