Will Chelsea keep up their good recent defensive form?

Doubt they'll be hammered on the pitch but both teams to score is on...

I fancy at least 1 West Ham goal

yeah, you'd think so at home and Bowen back to form to boot.

Not sure they have form, pretty lucky last few games defensively but they need more in attack

Once the attack gets rhythm it will take the pressure off the defence

Yeah I think it'll be tight. 0-0 or 1-0 either way

    Although I throughly dislike Chelsea.

I’m quite excited to see their new signings

Chelsea is going to tear West Ham apart with that line up.

    3-0 or 4-0 for me

Will be way closer IMO, 0-1 or 1-1 for me

As long as Kepa gets his customary 10 pointer it's all good

If they'd actually played together before, maybe. But I think it'll still be a bit disjointed

Looking ahead into next GW (a little early!) - do you reckon there's a chance of a Haaland rest?

    12/02 - GW23 - Aston Villa (H)
    15/02 - GW23 - Arsenal (A)
    18/02 - GW24 - Nottingham Forest (A)
    22/02 - UCL - RB Leipzig (A)
    25/02 - GW25 - Bournemouth (A)
    28/02 - FA Cup - Bristol City (A)
    04/03 - GW26 - Newcastle (H)

Just as I was typing that out I realised how many away games City have in what looks to be a congested month.

No point in predicting Pep I know, but see Haaland starting both GW23 games, UCL & Newcastle.

It's probably a bit less likely Haaland starts the FA Cup fixture, but known Pep often goes strong. Quite soon after Leipzig/Bournemouth though so seems like an Alvarez opportunity.

Basically, looking at this schedule and wondering if the Forest game if that's a potential rest spot. Not considering selling if course - but given Rashford plays Leicester at home & they give up sooooo many chances on that flank... might be worth a cheeky captaincy shout.

However 25/02 is also my birthday and I'd rather not get spanked by Haaland on it! 😆

If he’s being rested it will be the most unexpected time

      Arsenal away with false 9

Agree. You can never tell. Fun to guesstimate regardless!

there's a slight chance on Sunday but just under 3 days till Arsenal he needs to be going into it with a victory this weekend

Possible but I would guess just 60mins or so v Forest. Tempted to (C) Rashford regardless

Also yes - has shown he's happy to start & sub him.

Also I can't disregard that the Leicester fixture for United is sandwiched between both Europa League ties with Barcelona.

The title race is still on, so I don't expect a rest until Haaland's carrying a niggle

Any niggle or warning from the medical team, then I guess we'll see Foden up top

Could be off if they drop points this week though, especially if it's against Arsenal

      Good point

Pep complains about the travel time from Manchester to the London hotel.

      It's tough at the top!
