Which Spurs players are worth owning in FPL this season?

Tottenham Hotspur players are causing some Fantasy Premier League managers dilemmas at the start of the season.

They have a favourable opening fixture at home to Aston Villa but with a trip to Manchester City in Gameweek 2 and relatively expensive price points, their assets could be the ones to miss out on those initial teams.

However, there are some encouraging reasons to own some of Mauricio Pochettino’s players at the start of the new campaign.

In this article we assess Spurs’ defensive and attacking potential based on last season’s underlying statistics.

As this analysis uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

    Obviously no city attack is the main negative but think I prefer vardy to Kdb and Kane to sterling so will risk going without for the first couple of gameweeks and hope they don’t go crazy

      Kelly has only played centre back for the last couple of years so Cahill will definitely impact... none of them are nailed but I think Rico and Lundstram are the best of a bad bunch

              Kelly is versatile cover at the back but will never be first choice for any defensive position unless Palace have injuries. Ward is RB and Palace still in the market for a AWB replacement.
