My Rashford over Haaland argument (as most content creators are going Haaland):

      Rashford FPL scores at Old Trafford recently: 10, 3, 15, 8, 12, 10, 8, 14
Rashford 70% FPL goal involvement in last 6 home games vs. 40% for Haaland in last 6 away
4.0 non-penalty xG vs. 1.6 for Haaland in that period
47% Man Utd CS odds with the bookies this week, so a pretty good chance of an extra CS point in addition to the extra point per goal scored for a mid
Soton last 6 home games: 11 big chances conceded, 9 goals conceded. Everton in last 6 away games: 16 big chances and 13 goals.
Higher Rashford xMins with Haaland back from injury (so small chance of something flaring up again), having a huge Bayern game on Tuesday and importantly Alvarez seemingly well last game (so would seem to deserve some minutes in the next game):

      CityXtra:
      Julian Alvarez – 8.5
The scorer of City’s first goal, Alavrez was impressive all afternoon and played a major part in all of City’s first three goals. The 23-year-old World Cup winner once again proved a more than capable Erling Haaland replacement.

      MEN:
Alvarez - Earned applause from Guardiola for sprinting back to stop a counter at 0-0. Good movement to score his goal and great awareness to open Liverpool up for De Bruyne goal. 8.

Definitely plenty of arguments for Haaland though including the fact he’s on penalties, City looking more threatening, his quality of finishing of low xG chances and that he ‘feels’ more likely to get multiple returns
