Leicester differentials could reward investment in 2019/20

Leicester City’s squad could provide Fantasy Premier League managers with some powerful differentials in the early part of 2019/20.

Probably because of uninspiring opening fixtures, none of Brendan Rodgers’ players is owned by more than 13.7% ahead of Gameweek 1.

However, there is enough in the underlying statistics from last year to suggest the Foxes could enjoy Rodgers’ first full season at the helm.

As this article uses data Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who are signed up for the 2019/20 can access it in full.

    repost.
Are either of Rico or Lundstram actually nailed?

Want to upgrade VVD to Robertson but that would mean owning both of them and since Greenwood is the other bench option it might mean I have no one who plays on my bench

No. They will most likely be rotated. I don't believe any 4.0 option this year is nailed.

      Rather like it

I’m doubting King and would put that money in a 4-4-2 but it’s a nicely balanced team. Bilva and Digne selections make or break it short term is my guess. Both could be great or very average. I’m

Kane, King, Ederson and a 4.0 defender
    or.
    Heaton, Zinchenko, KDB, Wilson

4.0 defender could be viable if Tarkowski leaves and Gibson is nailed, would be a rotating 4.0 pairing in a 4atb with Lund/Kelly/Rico*

      Nice very nice

Huge amount in back line of course but like the premiums and KdB. That looks spot on. You’ll be in the minority with a home captain in week 2 - Emery permitting.

Likewise going with Barkley now as a 2 week move anyway. Just dunno but he feels like a better punt than most given track record

      B of those for me.

Out of curiosity what are your points projections for Sterling
and Auba in combined weeks 1 and 2?

Every time I see a KSS team I wonder what happens in week 2. Do you intend to switch Kane out and then back in in 3?

          Fair enough

Mo could do nicely in 2 of course. I’m quite probably overweighting that week. Neither RMT nor Fix particularly like my Auba set up

            1. pingissimus
              • 5 Years
              4 years, 9 months ago

Kane Auba Sterling experimentally right now

              TAA vvd 5.5 5.6
              Fraser Sterling Perez Barkley
              Kane Auba

Essentially I’m gambling Kane C matches Mo in week 1 and Auba makes up any deficit from Sterling Kane in week 2

This triple up gets me 1.5 more than KSS which mostly goes on Fraser. Barkley Auba disappear in 3 for my choice of 9.5 mid

                Not bad

What the thinking with Barkley only for 2 weeks because he has good fixtures after that?

                1. pingissimus
                  • 5 Years
                  4 years, 9 months ago

                  If Barkley flies he stays.

Lampard is one unknown - he appears to have the tinkerman reputation and zero bench isn’t s good look.

I don’t fancy Kane Auba long term just for combined 12 fixtures. I see better likely value in 9.5 mids with 7.5 forward such as Jim Haller. Team balance with that slot for KdB Son Pepe types feels best to me.

I’m off the double up just now but I’m thinking Fraser is the keeper. He feels just a touch better to me as the midterm hold if you’re looking past week 3. One of Haller Jim and Chelsea attack is almost certainly going to tempt me off Wilson as a cost cutting measure.

      1. Karan14
        • 8 Years

        Yup I agree with this.

          • 5 Years
          4 years, 9 months ago

Think Wilson is the pick in that range. The two week double up anyway is surely a very rational gamble. The upside is huge and Bournemouth tend to start decently and do well against non top 6. It’s just that it’s Bournemouth!

I could easily revert if I decide I don’t need Sterling in one and two. Just covering myself slightly right now.

          1. Karan14
            • 8 Years
            4 years, 9 months ago

Yeah Fraser & Wilson seem to the best option in their price range atleast for the start of the season.

The good thing about them is that you switch to so many options come GW3. Most United, Chelsea, West Ham attackers fall in that price bracket.
