Recapping the best Wolves players ahead of FPL restart

Wolves are offering a healthy number of viable assets for Fantasy Premier League managers, regardless of their chip strategy.

The next few weeks mean that their players could help out those Free Hitting or Bench Boosting in Double Gameweek 30+ or planning for the long-term.

We are currently recapping which players went into the coronavirus (COVID-19) suspension in the best form, using each club’s last six matches for the analysis.

We have also been assessing the impact of recently appointed new managers in the Premier League, so this series covers the other 15 sides, concluding with Wolves.

As we are sure you understand, a lot has changed since the climax of Gameweek 29, with Premier League players unable to fully train with their team-mates for nearly three months. 

However, it should still serve to know who was performing best before the break.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those signed up to a valid package can access it in full.

      Haven't seen too many BBs that have included all 4 major doubling premiums without the rest of the team looking terrible so have to applaud you for that.

      Personally prefer someone like Duda over Saka.

        Saka is a risk, for sure. It's hard to know how many minutes he's likely to get given that Arsenal have both left backs available after injury. However, he was playing well before the lockdown and I can't really see past the temptation of him having two potential games. Duda is a good call though.

    Really tempted by Duda as a cheap mid for the bench boost but that coronavirus case amongst the Norwich ranks is off-putting. I know the probability that it's him is low but still.

    I really do not understand why the Norwich player who tested positive has not been made public in a club statement or something

    We'll know which player it is when the line ups are out anyway

          I'm probably going up .1 to have el ghazi rather than mcginn. His 27 minute appearances not what they seem according to the scoutcast today.

            I didn't listen to that - what was the gist? Do you mean McGinn 27 mins? Was he rusty?

            El Ghazi prob won't play both games is my concern - wingers have been rotated a lot already this season and it will only get worse with two games in a few days.

              The El Ghazi 27 mins. It was along the lines of he started the first 27 min game and got a knock. They took him off as had the league cup final coming up.

              Basically made it sound like El Ghazi is actually first choice not a benching risk like the most recent minutes would suggest.

    I got BB,WC and FH and I’m thinking about going for the BB in gw30 but try to keep some good non dgw players so I can postpone my WC to GW32. More info by then on which teams and players to go for than to try to define the rest of the season after one GW. Anybody else feeling this play?

    Keen on C as have value tied up in Fernandes and would need to transfer him back in (no WC). But is Nketiah nailed?

      Think I'm going to take a punt on Nketiah - at 4.4m it frees up a lot of funds and if he doesn't play then I've got decent back-up/bench

          I think Saka plus Nketiah is overload - I'm ditching Saka due to concerns over game time.

          Might seem a stupid question but Aubameyang or Kun? With Nketiah in my team I don't want to have Auba as well but seems daft to ditch him when he is about to have a DGW.... but then it is Kun!

            Yeah it's not ideal. For me its Saka or D.Luiz and already have Grealish. Would be gutting to have both Saka and Nketiah benched though!

            Kun over Auba for sure. If Nketiah starts he should have a good chance of scoring well vs. Auba I guess?

    I am tempted by Kun, Jesus combo upfront and ignore Auba and Sterling.

    Those stats for Jesus are screaming at me. I wont be surprised by a hatrick even. With 5 subs, Raz is going to be rotated and might play one game only.

      It feels like a logical thing to do. Aguero as captain and if it works great but if he is subbed then you have a back up. Aguero/ sterling has higher ceiling but you don’t get guarantee like with aguero/ jesus. Basically ensuring you get at least 180 mins of man city strikers for £20m
