The jury is still out on Manchester United’s Fantasy assets going into the new campaign.
The new manager bounce that the club experienced after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment in December gave way to some middling form in the final nine Gameweeks of the season.
Their pre-season results (five wins from six) have been quietly encouraging, at least, with Inter Milan and Spurs among the teams already beaten in July.
This latest Numbers Game piece differs from the usual format as we focus on the impact Solskjaer had on United’s assets in the second half of last season.
The Norwegian first took charge of the Red Devils in Gameweek 18, so we will examine United’s stats before and after the departure of Jose Mourinho.

I'm pretty certain I'll be going with Murray in my gw1 team (if Brighton don't sign a new striker)
What's not to like?
- Brighton play arguably the worst 3 defenses in their opening 3 games.
- 2 out of these are home games.
- Brighton lie 2nd in the fixture ticker in terms of attack.
- Murray has played most of the preseason minutes and is nailed at least for the start of the season.
- Murray is on penalties.
- Brighton have scored a good amount of goals in preseason.
- Murray is 6m.
- Even if it doesn't work out, there are other good options in the same price range, thus not the end of the world.
- Again, he's not a selection for the entire season but just the first few gw's and he can easily prove to be a differential as I've not seen many around going with Murray.
Talk me out of it 😉
Cheers all 🙂
