How Scout Membership can help Fantasy managers in 2019/20

Full-season Fantasy Football Scout subscriptions are still available for £17.50 – that’s the equivalent of less than 39p a week.

Over the years we have added to the benefits that our Members enjoy and we will be re-investing back into the site to enhance it further in 2019/20.

The most recent addition was the new Flat-Track Bully tool, which allows Members to conduct research in greater detail.

Using this new feature (pictured below) you can exclude/include certain teams (i.e. the ‘big six’) when scrolling through the various tabs in our Player Stats section.

This will help you identify players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams like Raúl Jiménez did in 2018/19.

We also recently put a call out for web developers and we have a number of other site improvements in the pipeline that will hopefully help our subscribers even more.

If you’re new to the benefits of Fantasy Football Scout membership, you can get full details, along with a series of movies previewing the content, via this page.

In 2018/19 we published more Members’ articles than ever before and there will be at least 150 such pieces in the 2019/20 campaign.

We also introduced Members-only comments and Hot Topics to allow for detailed discussions of content behind the pay-wall.

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools (below) have both been tweaked, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a recent Hot Topic.

Reigning Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy is a paid-up Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in a recent interview.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

We are hugely grateful to those who show their support by signing up as a Member each season. This continues to enable us to maintain the site, grow the Fantasy Football Scout team and develop more ideas.

Here are just some of the features you can enjoy as a subscriber:

Head-to-Head Comparisons

Compare both teams and players head to head.

Match Analysis

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots, chances created among other statistics.

Custom Stats Tables

Members can also create custom tables based on the data and share them with other subscribers (an example from last season is shown above).

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

Customisable Season Ticker

Sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well using our customisable Season Ticker.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a member here. A full FAQ on our Members’ Area is also available here.

Kane manager isn’t a psychotic fraud

Not a fan of either personally though, although Kane’s home fixs are quite interesting

What do you call a manager who has never won a trophy, seeing as that you're calling one who has won several a fraud?

“What do you call a manager who has never won a trophy”

It really depends on what his name is 🙂

Emery is the second biggest fraud in the league - after the king of the frauds - the bald fraud himself

The more trophies won, the bigger the fraud it seems ..

And/or the more prone a manager is to gleefully spinning a roulette wheel with their team selections, the higher their rating on the fraud scale 😉

On a scale of 1 to Bald Fraud, Emery is right up there - which brings us full circle back to the OP’s question, and the answer that Kane’s manager isn’t a psychotic fraud 😉

Whats not to like about Kane?
Nailed, pen, and in a injury less season scores you about 200+ points...

True. But even with injuries and lower positioning he still managed 160 points. Can only see him do better when fully fit. Rather start with him and see how he does then the other way around.

        Whats not to like ?

        1. His ppm lower than heavy hitter in mid.

        2. His high price make him to be a captain , but how and why if someone like Salah , Sterling even defenders can have better points, better ppm and absolutely better value.

        3. If we buy someone, we must consider about his position and heatmap. While Salah is a mid and play like a striker, Kane is a striker, who can drop deep like a mid. Dont like that imho.

          Time will tell I guess.
Fact is that when he s fully fit he s a trustworthy source of points over the season. And I rather start with a heavy hitter then 2x 6.5 strikers. Easier to downgrade.

Yeah. I agree he is a great source of point but not the best source.

Nobody want u to use 6.5 striker... I trust only 9 and 8 mil striker from the start though

Debatable. Sterling is a strong captain option. Highest ppg player in the game.

I think it depends on the midfielders in the 7.5-6.0 bracket, because if they perform, Salah Sterling teams will be stronger.

Probably too early to say, but Mane Afcon final so may get prolonged rest. Just thoughts really to see what is feasible. Far too many unknowns in there atm (Burnley keeper, Holebas, KDB fitness). I'm liking the idea though, holding onto bench boost leads to narrow minded thinking late in the season (for me anyway) and it's the only opportunity to play it the same week as a wildcard. Think Watford, Bournemouth and Burnley have decent home fixtures to make some of the budget players good picks.

Possibly fan bias. Utd surely can't be as bad defensively as last season, especially if we get Maguire and De Gea signs a new deal? AWB will still be a bonus magnet and might actually be able to attack going by pre-season so far plus worried a little about Everton inconsistency despite their end to last season.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to want Haller early on. I think he's gonna smash it in the Prem.. but of course you never know. The best route I can see to bring him in, is starting the season with Fraser & Deulofeu. Then in Gameweek 3:

    - Fraser > Perez / Tielemans
    - Deulofeu > Haller

I'll still have Wilson for the following good Bournemouth fixtures. Thoughts?

Almiron played well I thought when he was brought in at Newcastle helping Perez who was burdened with providing most of the creativity.

Also Longstaff, Schar and Dubravka really upped their consistency.

Don’t get me wrong though - Perez is a good player who should thrive at Leicester under an attacking manager like Rodgers.

Assuming that Mendy is injured, Gueye stays, and Robinson picks up where he left off:

    Ederson
    TAA, Robbo, Zinchenko, Digne, Coleman
    Salah, Sterling, Perez, Robinson
    Vardy

Coming around to the idea of Perez over King

If Gueye goes that perhaps necessitates a bit of a reshuffle, would also like to be able to get Henderson instead of Ederson - those two problems could solve each other

Yeah he had a hugely impressive spell at the start of last season - scored 9 & setup 2 in a 15 game stretch then wrecked his hamstring & missed most of the rest of the year before returning

        He’s classed as a mid & night nick a G or A here & there

Ayoze Pérez. £6.5m. For players at new clubs, I prefer looking at the eye test rather than historical data. Pérez looked really sharp in his first appearance, getting into threatening positions and looked hungry to score. See for yourself!

I think the Leicester fixtures thing is a bit of a fallacy tbh

Since puel was sacked, They’ve scored 19 goals in 11 games, with Vardy getting 10 goals & 1 assist in those 11 games

He also scored against wolves, United and Bournemouth last season, 3 of his first 5 opponents... wolves may have one eye on Europa which stretches them even further....

Sheff utd are newly promoted, and Chelsea have the football management experience equivalent of a toddler in charge...

They won’t fear those fixtures one bit

Wolves opening day of the season after their Europa fixture too. Then BOU in week 4. Fixtures look pretty decent to me.

He's been in my team since that game.

He will be in the box a lot, practically playing as a striker. He said he wants to beat his goal record from last season, and Rodgers suggested he brought him in to score goals. I like him a lot. Very nice price.

Hi guys. My first draft of the season is ready, and i would appreciate some feedback.

    Ryan, Button
    VVD, Robertson, Laporte, Digne, 4.0
    Salah, Sterling, Perez, Zaha, 4.5
    Wilson, Jota, 4.5

Zaha will probably not stay in my team.

Anthony Martial looks sharp preseason. Will probably be OOP as striker with Rashford also OOP as winger, where he should be imo. 7.5m for Martial is very tempting. He still got 11 or 12 goals in a pretty miserable campaign for him. Any interested parties? Utd look like they are actually turning a corner after the Moyes contract finally expired a few weeks ago! 😀

Even him - it looked like the wheels had come off at the end of last year.

I’ve been burned to much in the past by reading too much into preseason.

I’m not saying Utd are finished, but I’d like to see them against Premier League opposition first this season.

I've gone for Rashford at the moment. I think he'll play centrally for the most part as he's better there though he may interchange with Martial throughout the match. I just feel like Martial's position is a little more under threat than Rashford's what with James and possibly Sanchez lurking. He'll probably start most games but will probably get subbed earlier too.

Lightning quick, and good decision-making. Been tidy so far.

But Spurs as a whole are playing well. Been impressed by 17-year-old Parrott. Winks has been phenomenal in the centre.

      It's a tough one.
I'm on B atm but tempted to shift to A.

If Gueye leaves then I might just go without Everton defender and get Walker alongside Zinchenko.
