The Toffees sit top our Season Ticker over this time, meeting only two of the ‘big six’ between now and the end of December.

Not one of their first six away fixtures is against a side that finished in the top half of the Premier League in 2018/19.

      A is safer but B could rocket your rank if it comes off.

      If there was some indication Tammy was a starter I'd go B as I think Wilson is overpriced and we have no idea if Pogba can be arsed. Fraser & Auba both solid picks.

        Had stones an zinch instead of AWB....stones is nailed as a naily thing. But i think Zinch could be if he proves himself and has that attacking threat. Thinks hes guaranteed first few games anyway so if he loses his spot....he can be taken out.

        But have spent about 3 hours today switching zinch/stones and AWB/Shaw for some reason!

    So this is what I came up with.

    Subs: 4.0 Greenwood Dendoncker Hayden

    Back up plan to get Sterling 1:

    Salah + King -> Sterling + whoever seems nailed from Chelsea in gw3.

    Back up plan 2:

    Alderweireld -> Foyth in gw3
    Kane + KDB -> Vardy + Sterling in gw4

    Sounds good yeah? Prone to early wildcard, but lets be honest... Wildcards are often used within the first 5 gameweeks anyway

                It will if Kane or Aubameyang do well in their final preseason fixtures at the same time, and at the very least it won't make anyone more likely to captain him over Salah vs Norwich.

                That fixture may also be a different story when Fabianski returns.

      It's still a risk. Tielemans is relatively new, and Perez has only just signed for a team that we've started to see in their new formation this preseason. They are both great players, and affordable, but most aren't willing to gamble with two precious midfield places in case it backfires.

            Almost half of his goals came from pens, which are harder to predict. Also a high percentage of his goals from open play were when Wilson was injured as when Wilson is healthy King moves wide more often

          See a transfer as 4pts, because you will take hits. Get a good 4.5 and stick, ride it out, ignore the fixtures. A good 4.5 can get 150pts, invaluable for a half spent.

      I asked for opinions for Kean vs Haller above and the consensus was Haller, which is understandable. Haller has done well in the Bundesliga, has the physicality for the PL and has already scored in pre-season.

      I love Jimenez, but with Europa league and Jota available for 1.0 less he's not so appealing, they've also just signed Cutrone so I'm wondering what kind of role he'll play.

          Meh, it may not be very nice to look at your team for GW1 and see MCI (H) next to your 7.5 striker but it's important to remember that you're not just picking a squad for GW1. I wouldn't bet on a Man City clean sheet anyway.

      i'm not sure Azpi is worth starting with, Chelsea are conceding goals for fun atm and i can't see them keeping a clean sheet in their first 2, try and get a Pool defender for him

    Kane or KDB (could be son later) + 1.5?

    Every draft I make is fairly similar with this as the main difference. Kane obviously gives me another captaincy option but seems like a luxury as I'd be happy captaining salah/sterling (switching with transfers depending on form and fixtures) most weeks. Son and Vardy would be the alternative captaincy options if I go without Kane, and although they might seem a bit punty it is generally easy to tell when they are on form. Am worried Kane will be back to his best this season though, especially since their home games aren't at wembley anymore. I'm also expecting that Ndombele will help Kane as he won't need to drop back as much.
