Can Wolves’ FPL assets perform as well in 2019/20?

Wolverhampton Wanderers were one of the big success stories of last season, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s impressive side finishing seventh in their first Premier League campaign in six years.

The West Midlands club offered Fantasy managers some notable bargain buys, with Matt Doherty (£6.0m), Diogo Jota (£6.5m) and Raul Jimenez (£7.5m) the three stand-out assets.

Doherty, Jimenez and several others have been handed price rises in Fantasy Premier League this summer, however, and aren’t quite the cut-price gems they were 12 months ago.

      If you want surety of start, go with VVD. It'll save you 1mn over Moura. If you don't mind the occasional benching/truncated minutes, go for TAA.

    Deal sheet is in for the loan of Mo Besic from Everton to Sheffield United.

    Kills off Lundstram as an option if it goes through, if anyone was putting any hope on his shoulders.

      No one should have been holding out hope for that one, in all honesty.

      A £4.0m starter will most likely emerge, but usually only once a few regular starters pick up long term injuries.

        I can see them keeping 8 to 10 CS's. Good enough for me in a rotation. I only trust Burnley, Leicester and weirdly villa from the teams that offer 4.5 defenders. Villa because I saw their games post feb last year and cause of Douglas Luiz and heaton

      Leicester kept all their 10 Clean sheets out of the 26 games they played vs non top 6 opposition. Just bench soyuncu vs the big guns and play your villa defender who covers him perfectly

      The three expensive players are squeezing your budget a bit too much though, in my opinion.

      Kun has been great for me too, but don't think he will get as many minutes this year. I wouldn't pick him especially as you have Sterling.
      Kane/Auba much better I think.
      You could end up relying on Adams some weeks.
      Kun > 11m
      Adams > 6.5/7m

      Burned me last season.

      I got him in just as he decided he didn't like running training or doing any other form of football related exercise.

      Wait till Son is available in GW3 and get him instead.

      If Kane doesn't do anything against Villa he's effectively worthless till GW3 anyway.
