Belgium lead Russia after Finland beat Denmark

Belgium are leading Russia in their opening EURO 2020 match thanks to the most-popular Fantasy asset Romelu Lukaku (€11.0m).

The Inter Milan forward converted a Dries Mertens (€9.0m) in the 10th minute and dedicated his strike to club team-mate Christian Eriksen, who was hospitalised during Denmark’s meeting with Finland.

The former Spurs man collapsed during the first half and received CPR from medics before being transferred to hospital where he managed to be stabilised, subject to further examinations.

After just under an hour, the contest was resumed, in which Joel Pohjanpalo (€6.0m) scored the only goal of the game and 34%-owned goalkeeper Lukas Hrádecky (€4.0m) saved a Pierre-Emile Højbjerg (€5.5m) penalty.

Meanwhile, popular Fantasy defender Jason Denayer (€4.5m), owned by 22%, missed out on the starting line-up for Belgium, who deployed Derdryck Boyata (€4.5m) in the back-three with Jan Vertonghen (€5.5m) and Toby Alderweireld (€5.5m).

Eden Hazard (€10.0m) and Kevin De Bruyne (€10.5m) are not involved due to injury.

      Your whole initial team selection should have been based on the order of the matches. This made it easy to ignore German and French players as they play last.

          I much prefer to play without persistent, incremental and/or opaque price changes. Wouldn't mind transparent and signposted adjustments to prices throughout the competition, though, FPL included.

    First time for me playing a FF outside of premier league so hoping someone can help.

    I’ve got Hradecky as my keeper on the bench with 13 points and Szczesney in my starting 11 still to play. Is it tough luck with the 13 points gone or do I have a window to swap my keeper, if yes then when as this part of the game alludes me.

      I don't believe you can swap players once they have already got on the pitch. That is why you should put in the players that play first, even if you don't expect much from them.

    i get playing limitless in groups and was planning to.

    However my team now needs surgery with Eriksson, Barradi, Yacizi, Denayer etc.

    So anything wrong with doing the widcard in matchday 2 to set up for matchday 3 to?

    And save the limitless for later now.

      or Limitless matchday 2, wildcard matchday 3. We have unlimited transfers for round of 16 and everyones team will be the same by the last 8 anyways so I don't see the point in saving a chip for that.

      I do didn't captain Lukaku though. I was happy enough with Insigne. I assume most who captained Lukaku did not have Meunier!
