    England afraid to take more risks in attack because they are nervous about losing the ball and leaving Mings and Stones exposed. Did Shaw get into the attacking third that half?

      It seems that way.

      What about shifting to a back 3. Bring in Chilwell and tuck in Shaw.
      Take off Rice, Phillips can do that job.

      Or if Kane is going to drop deep replace him with Grealish who can be more lively and play with a proper false 9.

        Sancho needs to come on. His stats are ridiculous

        Grealish should come on if he’s fit too but don’t think he is??

        Kane needs to stick in the box. England have enough talent compared to spurs so no need to constantly drop back.

        Instead he’s coming back and slowing things down even more as when players look up there is nobody to hit so long balls up to foden and sterling which rarely work unless a defensive lapse

          If there was any creativity in the team then Kane should stay up. But no one excepts for Mount even tries anything. Phillips, Rice and the fullbacks have been so timid.

          I’m worried he’ll change up one of the front 4 thinking it will help but it won’t.

    England team annoys me sometimes. I look at their squad and the individual talent and then their bench tonight and it excites me. You expect a lot from them. Then you watch it and it always underwhelms. I don’t think it is the players, is it the system?
