5.0 would tempt me to go with 3 premiums.

Gotta say it's quite funny seeing Leicester being quoted these crazy prices for decent centre backs. Burnley asking for £40m for Tark. Bournemouth demanding £75 for Ake !
What else do they expect. Everyone saw them pull United's pants down with £80m Maguire.

Pants pulled down? Leicester wanted 95m, United wanted to pay 70m, final purchase price of 80m. Don't think anyone's pants got pulled down.

No Sterling/Auba, but otherwise really liking this:

    Henderson (McGovern)
    TAA, VVD, Digne (Montoya, Rico)
    Salah, KDB, Perez, Robinson (Dendo)
    Kane, Wilson, Ings

    Any criticisms?

Elimination is currently implemented using the unique FPL ids, so names don't matter.

not sure about keane, i think coleman is the better everton option and even then there are stronger options at that price elsewhere. Im not sure on cathcart either, i think there are better options for 4.5 rotation with the likes of diop and taylor.

      1. ZimZalabim
        • 7 Years
        4 years, 9 months ago

Watford and Villa rotate well first 5 weeks but i will look again and see what better options i can find

Even im not sure about keane but i want an everton defender for the fixtures and cant find the 0.5 to get digne one option was to get pickford and downgrade the def to 4.5 or ofcourse Coleman but worried he loses his spot to Sidibe

        1. selig
          • 6 Years
          4 years, 9 months ago

ik what you mean about everton. their fixtures are too good to pass up and their defence is pretty solid. i think coleman will be viable for a little while. Ive seen him in plenty of drafts so there seems to be community confidence in him. ive got digne though so again i cant really say. and i see what you mean with the watford villa rotation i just dont personally trust them to keep clean sheets against west ham or newcastle so theres not much appeal.

        1. JJeyy
          • 8 Years
          4 years, 9 months ago

As a basis if he is overhyped for reasons that you don’t think he is good enough to be that picked, what indicates you that Trossard is a more rational pick.

          1. SADIO SANÉ
            • 8 Years
            4 years, 9 months ago

who said anything about rational? 😉 he's on set-pieces for a manager that likes to focus on them, he has -wat WHU SOU- first 3 games, bha should be more attacking this year … and it was a question not a statement!?

    3. Thomas Magnum
      • 8 Years

      1. Kane5
        • 5 Years
        4 years, 9 months ago

Yeah thinking Dunk. I don't have Ryan in goals so Dunk could be the go. However, if you have Ryan already, I wouldnt double up on Brighton and get Dunk. Spend elsewhere

at some stage when we find out if he is playing a deep role or back staying more up front all depends on who is leaving , coming in and injuries so sitting on the fence.
Arsenal on the other hand keeping away from them until see how they sorting themselves out.
going with Moura as a punt for a few weeks saying ali is out injured and son missing his 2 games

very similar team but i downgraded zinch to a 4.0 to fit sterling instead of KDB (with a couple of other tweaks to yours), quite a few 4.0's that could have a big year, just picking the right one is the gamble. For me sterling is too big a threat to not have

Here we go then, locked in, I think...

    Allison
    VVD Coleman Zinchenko
    Salah KDB Perez Moura
    Aubameyang Murray King

    Steklenburg Dunk Dendoncker Lundstram

Who’s the player that none of us are considering but is going to be in most people’s teams by GW2 or GW3?

      Walcott

Firmino potentially. Could easily fill his boots vs Norwich. Have not seen him on any RMTs here.

      Hourihane, this year's Pascal Gross.

Villa fans don't want him playing DM and we've signed Luiz and Nakamba for that role so his place is definitely not guaranteed

After 2 goals and an assist vs Leipzig?

He didn't get an assist. McGinn G Trez A. He's awful DM doesn't know how to position himself and he's very unlikely to dislodge McGinn or Grealish in CM and can't play as winger

Also scored 1 goal and 1 assist last season when playing DM. Only scored vs Leipzig with 2 decent but poorly defended free kicks

He's behind Grealish, McGinn and Luiz in the pecking order

Smith wants 2 players for every position so the 3 CM midfield spots in 4141 looking like

          Luiz/Nakamba

          Grealish/Lansbury McGinn/Hourihane

Hourihane likely starts DM vs Spurs because Nakamba/Luiz not up to speed but I'm not looking forward to that

My team for GW 1&2 probably:

    Lloris / Button
    TAA / Zinchenko / Chambers / Lundstrom / Rico
    Salah / Sterling / Moura / Barkley / Dendoncker
    Auba / King / Origi

    Any advice?

I think you could potentially struggle to field a starting XI by GW2
