This is my rationale from the previous page -

More avenues to points with CS, Pens, set piece assists and extra points for a goal. Also an assist with a CS equals a goal from Lukaku.
I'm not assuming 2 returns for anyone - and also playing in Russia has me a little less gung-ho about Lukaku.

don't mean it will work out!
sometimes i like to play with vibes, sometimes with logic.
this is actually kinda both as i kinda like the vibe of Eriksen. Feels like this tournament will be a reminder to some folks that he's pretty rad at football.

Very tempting to swap the captain from Insigne but the sensible move is probably just to keep it on him

You don't have another player who you think might score more than 8?

I do have a chance, but with no bonus points your captain basically needs 2 returns if it is Ronaldo/Depay/Lukaku. So yes they all can do that, but it is much safer to take the 8, and even if they do get those couple of returns you are losing out on 2/3 points.

          this is my feeling too.
          i'm hoping for 1 return from my captain - ideally it's a goal/cs from a mid.

yes but as as explained above odds are not in my favour with no bonus points in this game

Fair enough. I can see the potential for much better returns from a few others and like you said, getting it wrong may only cost you a few points but with the potential to get you a fair bit more from those to play.

lukaku needs two returns - and even if he does that only gets you 2 points (assuming they're both goals).
      i would stick i think.

forward captains are tough to me.

You can sub him in and out again but you can’t sub anyone out and back in again if that makes sense. So you need to bring him on for someone who has already played or that’s not an option someone you are happy to sacrifice for Mæhle

Denayer wjindal allioski are in my playing team. So if I sub in maehle for alioski I won’t be able to reverse this if maehle blanks? Alioski wouldn’t have played yet.

If you mean transfer him out from your next Match Day team, then you will keep the points.

luckily a captain blank in this game is not the end of the world, i doubt an Italy player will end up being be the highest scoring player this gw anyway, and most of the game will cap Lukaku later too, not me though 🙂

I would base that decision on how confident you are on the last captain. (Ronaldo for me)
If you are confident on him, then twisting makes sense. Yes I know Lukaku Depay Torres would have to get more than one return to outscore Insigne, but I'm willing to take the risk that one of those 4 does get a 9+ outing

Also, Captain change and subs you want done, must be done before first game of the day kick off.

“After all matches on a single day have finished and before the next matches within that matchday kick off, you can:
-Change your captain to another player from your squad whose team are yet to play.

      - Sub out a maximum of four players (unless they've been sent off), and replace them with any of your substitutes whose teams are yet to play within the matchday”

I was hoping i could wait til after 20.00 today to change captain to Lukaku. He plays at 21.00 ( Line ups etc.)

So Insigne(C) gave me 16 points.

Any of the following worth twisting?

    A) Eriksen
    B) Depay
    C) Schick
    D) Ronaldo

If a forward scores a brace, it's 20 points. Not a whole lot more than 16.
Which leaves Eriksen. Can he score more?
    Would love to hear opinions.

    Thanks.

I'd twist. I fancy at least one of Eriksen, Depay or Ronaldo to score one. So, worst case scenrio you lose 1/2 points.

I moved it from Insigne to Eriksen (could chose Lukaku too). But going with Eriksen. If he blanks I’ll move it to Depay or Kane next day.

I think Depay can score a brace or hattrick

Dacision made. Twisting Insigne to Lukaku.
Have Depay, Torres and Ronaldo after that. I'd consider myself extremely unlucky if all of them don't even get one return.
So, if they get 6/7, I lose 1/2 points worst case scenario. If they bang, there is more to gain.
It's a small game. 8 points is taking the risk over imo.

Only 10 pts will make me stick but Ronaldo vs hungary is tempting

See the post i answred above two posts.

The bonus points you lose is the captain points. if you have berardi, you lose the 6 extra points captain x 2 gave you. Berardi go back to having normal score.

just want to know, can we change the captain while the game still in progress? I wanted to change to Immobile last night after he had scored.
