Really like this team with a great bench to help out if needed. Are you sticking with the captain or are you switching to go all out?

DD hs twisted on this team. I've also twisted from Insigne. Captaincy now on Eriksen, with Depay, Lewan and Cancelo to go.

I like his team too. Was very tempted to go for Foden or Grealish.

I would say you needed one of Cancelo or Spinner
Also I think Harry Kane is going to boss the goals
But I know its most likely we both are missing it somewhere

Folks. Rookie question on Euro. Assuming I started Pogba (who’s yet to play) by mistake.

Any chance if I could sub him out and get a bench player in. If the bench player returns with 2 point, could I still sub in Pogba into the game?

Reasons for people choosing LL2 instead of LL3??
Is it better fixtures or rotation risk on MD 3?

Isn't that a pro for using it then? You have an unlimited budget to get the best bench options in case of rotation.

That's absolutely one school of thought. Another is that in MD2 most big teams want to seal qualification so might be the last you see of the top, most explosive players in the group stages. Also, even if they play, it might be with weaker teammates so goals might be a premium.

Let's see how MD1 pans out tho

For me it's a chance to max out on big guns whilst there is limited chance of rest/rotation.

I'll probably go for WC in MD3, but will see how my team looks when I get to that decision.

There’s no way Lukaku, Depay, Torres and Ronaldo all blank... surely one of these can at least grab two attacking returns

Time to live a little and chase the upside. Being happy with 8pts for a captain is never acceptable.

Yeah I think I'm going to twist. More fun this way than just hoping all of my potential captains get less than 8 points.

It has less to do with hoping. It is playing the percentages.
8 points means a forward has to get at least two attacking returns minimum.
Then you have to factor in on pens or not, a physical team/opponent will they get yellows?

    Twisted on Immobile to Eriksen.

The odds on Denmark winning are plummeting - I’ll trust the bookies on this one.

Lewandowski and CR7 to come as insurance.

I like your bravery. Too many on here might be happy with 8 to 9 points captain but it's a lot more fun twisting and twisting for 10-12 pts even if you just end up treading water.

    2. Cheeto__Bandito
      • 5 Years

Eriksen has played a deeper role recently for NT. Odds are low because Finland are the worst team in the tournament and Denmark are one of the strongest

      1. schlupptheweek
        • 11 Years

But it is Finland, and even if Eriksen doesn't get a goal outside the box and assist they've still got good captaincy to come.

Eriksen gets a clean sheet point too. Just an assist and its 12 points as cap. Then I'll twist again for sure.

Chances of Lukaku scoring a brace not that big. Scores 1 and it's also 6. But if Eriksen can get a goal too against a woeful Finnish team too...

Yeah I agree with ya defenders in this type of short quick burst competition are great. A lot of games are cagey. An attacking wing back/full back or even a big central defender who enjoys attacking corners is often the way to go. Especially in likely tight games.
