How Scout Membership can help Fantasy managers in 2019/20

Full-season Fantasy Football Scout subscriptions are still available for £17.50 – that’s the equivalent of less than 39p a week.

Over the years we have added to the benefits that our Members enjoy and we will be re-investing back into the site to enhance it further in 2019/20.

The most recent addition was the new Flat-Track Bully tool, which allows Members to conduct research in greater detail.

Using this new feature (pictured below) you can exclude/include certain teams (i.e. the ‘big six’) when scrolling through the various tabs in our Player Stats section.

This will help you identify players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams like Raúl Jiménez did in 2018/19.

We also recently put a call out for web developers and we have a number of other site improvements in the pipeline that will hopefully help our subscribers even more.

If you’re new to the benefits of Fantasy Football Scout membership, you can get full details, along with a series of movies previewing the content, via this page.

In 2018/19 we published more Members’ articles than ever before and there will be at least 150 such pieces in the 2019/20 campaign.

We also introduced Members-only comments and Hot Topics to allow for detailed discussions of content behind the pay-wall.

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools (below) have both been tweaked, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a recent Hot Topic.

Reigning Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy is a paid-up Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in a recent interview.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

We are hugely grateful to those who show their support by signing up as a Member each season. This continues to enable us to maintain the site, grow the Fantasy Football Scout team and develop more ideas.

Here are just some of the features you can enjoy as a subscriber:

Head-to-Head Comparisons

Compare both teams and players head to head.

Match Analysis

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots, chances created among other statistics.

Custom Stats Tables

Members can also create custom tables based on the data and share them with other subscribers (an example from last season is shown above).

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

Customisable Season Ticker

Sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well using our customisable Season Ticker.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a member here. A full FAQ on our Members’ Area is also available here.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the Members’ Area, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

    Thoughts on this please? 🙂

    Pope
    TAA - VVD - Digne - Zinchenko
    Salah - Sterling - Zaha - Fraser
    Wilson - Deulofeu

    Button, Greenwood, Dendoncker, Kelly

I'd say Zaha is a no go at the minute until future is settled other than that good to go

OK thanks, who should I have instead?

        Maybe:

        Zaha + Fraser -> Richarlison + Perez/Tielemans/Brooks ???

            VVD/Coleman over Robertson/Digne is interesting.

Will the points difference be less than that between Perez and Fraser, for instance? Not sure.

10/15 the same as me. I like it.

More balance in yours though as I have KDB alongside the two big guns in midfield.

I may switch to something like this though the closer we get.

      No Kane?

Wilson is a good pick, obviously. Not sure on Deulofeu to be honest.

Overall rather solid. Any plans to get Spurs assets come GW3? Good run of games from there. Perhaps Fraser->Moura?

      1. Coys96
        • 6 Years

Kane on my watchlist, I think I'd have if they didnt have City away! I prefer Sterling for £1m more because of CS, 1 extra point for goals and assist potential.

Not sure on Deu either, between him and Jota. Currently on Deulo for decent early fixtures

I'd like to get Son in gw3. I'll probably go Fraser > Son and Wilson > 6 mil, maybe Adams... I'd also like Haller gw3 tho...

Wesley is looking good as is Hourihane but you can't rely on him to start.

No sign of El Ghazi which is a worry. He played the previous game and didn't do much, it's just that he plays so far forward that he'll get the odd flukey attacking returns regardless.

I still think Mayo will this game but i do not think they have enough about them to win an all Ireland.

I was in Killarney last week to see Kerry vs Mayo and i think there is something special brewing about this current Kerry team. We are the only team that has a chance of getting one over on Dublin imo.

Clifford is a superstar and for my money is the best young player in the country.I just hope he is not lured to Australia by an AFL team which must be tempting for him.

The Dubs are very strong alright and i reckon lots is stacked in their favor like the finals basically being a home fixture every year, the money that is in Dublin compared to the rest of the country, the population in the county and the pool of players they have to select from etc.etc.

If Dublin do go on to dominate in the next few years the GAA would seriously want to consider breaking them up into Dublin City and Dublin County or something like that for the good of the game.

Wouldn't be a bad shout to be fair, ya the division of the funds is just ridiculous they should probably get the least amount and develop weaker counties to try and improve.

Ya I hate seeing the hill being open for championship games involving Dublin it's just unfair.

So, if you go for the Big Three, you need to have a 4.5 forward, to make the team playable. I'm sorry, but Dendonker does not convince me.

This allows for Zinchenko and a 5.0 defender of your choice, for a 442, or two 5.5 midfielders, where appropriate for a 352. Are there any 4.5 defenders which really stand out? Not sure. But one will certainly be needed, by GW3.

    1. HamezMace
      • 9 Years
      4 years, 9 months ago

As I said yesterday I really don't think the big three are possible.
I also can't really see much in the way of 4.5m or even 5m defender, barring pre-season games.
I mean Holding at 4.5m could be decent.
At 5m - whoever gets the Spurs right back slot, or Ake.

I'm hoping Gibson finds a way into the Burnley defence.

If you find a way to get the big three, please don't hesitate to share it.

It’s pretty easy if you play a 4-4-2 and are willing to make sacrifices with your 4th defender (4.5 rotating) and your 4th mid (5.0). It’s not an issue to start with them and then downgrade when the value picks become more clear or if their alternatives (KDB/Son) are keeping up. I think people have just got into the mindset that 4.5 defenders will score 0 points and so can no longer bear to see them in their team.

    Ederson Button
    Robbo, VVD, Laporte, Digne, Dunk
    Salah, Sterling, Perez, Norwood, Dendoncker
    King, Deulofeu, Mousset

Set & forget keeper, 4 premium defenders, two captaincy options in midfield, cheap forward line but should tick over nicely, hopefully 3 cheap but playing bench fodder for the remaining spot. £1M ITB for flexibility. Caveats obviously about Moussa’s starts, Norwood on penalties and Dunk moving to Villa.
    What do you think?

5-3-2? Nice squad. I'd prefer Digne>Coleman and upgrading Norwood to a more playable 6.5 mid of your choice (Brooks?) with the extra 1.5 (4-4-2 with the option to play or bench Dunk as you see fit in a 5-3-2).

    Ederson | 4.0
    Robertson | VVD | Digne | Zinchenko | 4.0
    Salah | Sterling | Siggy | Pérez | 4.5
    King | Deulofeu | 4.5

Would you downgrade Ederson to upgrade Siggy -> KDB or King -> Wilson?

Starting XI is fine but no bench. You could go Digne > Coleman or Siggy > Fraser, Maddy etc to get a playing 5th defender.

    Ryan (Button)

TAA - Robertson - Zinchenko - Lundstram (Kelly)

Salah - Sterling - KDB - Perez (Dendck)

    Wilson - King (Greenwood)

Any of the 4.0M can become Gibson. Any suggestions? Currently not sure on King, Any better option?

Out of this 1.5 differentiated combo, which of them u think will have the biggest difference in terms of points?

    A) Perez/Brooks vs Siggy
    B) Siggy vs KDB
    C) Wilson vs 6.5ish
    D) Ederson vs 4.5ish

      Hard to answer.
One of the 4.5m keeper, and 6.5m strikers will run very close to their premium options. It's just picking the right one.

Who would have thought Etheridge would be within (I don't know the actual number) 20-30 points of Ederson last season.

        I mean, I would have said Sterling 4, 5, 6.

Salah Salah Salah Sterling Sterling Sterling

You could switch between the two. But I'd just be a lot more comfortable just putting in the two best FPL players and keeping them there all season... Transfers are precious.
