    Surely a “casual” isn’t going to win this FPL format right?!

    Given the permutations of having the right player options sequenced on the right days, making the right subs between games, captain order etc.

    To do really well should require a good bit of focus just to stay in the running I am guessing...

      Autosubs still exist though. And you can log in once every 2-3 days to some effect. Also you can be punished for manually subbing or swapping captains.

        Also, it could easily be that teams with 1 or 2 poor bench options who piled money into their XIs could outscore the balanced squads on average. Even if the 'non-casuals' are right, that balanced is a better strategy, it doesn't mean that it will end in the best results this tournament.
