So are we ready for bit of bench points?

All set

Flekken
Taa. Gabriel. Lewis
Saka. Mbueno. Diaz. Rogers
Havertz. Haaland(c). Jackson

Fabi. Dibling. Myko. Greaves

Played Isak...

This is what I ended up with.

Flekken
Gabriel Lewis Pinnock Davis Faes
Palmer Saka Mbuemo Luiz Rogers
Haaland Solanke

I will probably regret it big time but somehow went Flekken DCL Havertz over Raya Jackson Wood…

Saka captain

Sounds like Lewis starts

Fkekken
Gabriel TAA Konsa
Salah Saka Rodgers ESR Winks
Havertz Haaland(c)

Fabianski Greaves Faes 4.5 striker

This was my wildcard, I hate Winks in the starting 11 but can rotat
with Greaves or Faes but needed a 4.5 mid and 4.5 striker to free up funds for the big guns.

I hadn’t got a chance to truly scout the ~4.5m defenders, Colwill and Lewis are popular. Looking at attacking stats, Digne stands out but is a headache to own, Milenković plays for what looks like an improved Forrest defence, same goes for United players like Mazraoui and Martinez but United are a wait and see for me defensively - they had second most shots conceded at the end of last season (and almost the entire backline is changed), then there’s Dunk, my personal favorite but the fixtures are really bad, Robinson was the hot pick weeks ago but Fulham are not too defensive minded, Guehi, Lacroix are interesting but no attacking output expected.

Palmer(C) locked in. We feast!!!

Assuming everyone has the same team in fantasy challenge ? I forgot to select captain so hope it’s on Mo

Lewis is just playing in midfield, gonna have to buy him if he does well today

Newcastle: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Hall; Joelinton, Guimaraes, Tonali; Gordon, Murphy, Barnes

Man City: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol; Kovacic, Lewis, Gundogan; Silva, Haaland, Grealish

Lewis in CDM, sheeeesh

Your City line-up for #NEWMCI

Ederson, Walker (C), Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, Lewis, Kovacic, Gundogan, Bernardo, Grealish, Haaland

SUBS:
Ortega Moreno, Carson, Stones, Doku, Savinho, Nunes, Foden, McAtee

Today's guarantees.

Haaland will not score
Salah will score twice / outscore Haaland by two.
Rico Lewis if he plays will get two of a goal/assist/clean sheet. If he doesn't get any then one of ten regular starters, probably Timber will not play.

Savinho punt may have been silly in hindsight, he's looked electric when playing so hoping for an impact appearance from the bench

Trippier is back

Who's a better pick next week onwards?

A. Gvardiol
B. Lewis

TAA Gabriel XX Davis y

Newcastle: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Hall; Joelinton, Guimaraes, Tonali; Gordon, Murphy, Barnes
Man City: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol; Kovacic, Lewis, Gundogan; Silva, Haaland, Grealish

And in the end Walker, Lewis and Kovacic all starting. Pep, you're one big mystery of a man.

does it look likely that Raya will play now? Arteta telling fibs

No savio and Isak 🙁

11.59 switched from Flekken to Sels

Roast my final defense, don't know why I kept money ITB

Gabriel, Lewis, Porro, Milenkovic, Greaves +0.5ITB

Already regretting some of my decisions from my WC lol what a (FPL) life..

Made a last minute decision to do these changes on my wildcard. Good decision?

Havertz to Wood
Rogers to Semenyo
Colwil to Lewis

C Haaland and R Lewis are MCI players to own. Lewis is cheap enough, do occasional benching isn't an issue. Without Rodri Gvardiol is perhaps too expensive, especially often without license to attack.

Pep playing Lewis in Midfield is an experiment.

No guarantee it lasts
