Football is a simple game. 22 players run around for 90 minutes and at the end of it Germany lose.

I would wait for Leeds players as their opening run isn’t great, but neither is Chelsea’s.

But that wasn’t the question, so if I was forced to pick one of this two it would be Raphina.

Anyone thinking about Ferran Torres in FPL.

Might he get more starts next season now?

Can't start with someone based on a weak assumption, especially for that much money. He needs to start a string of games for City to even be worthy of consideration.

Ever since Pep changed the way City play in November, the likes of Torres and Sterling have fallen out of favour. They don't fit the system.

I like Gundo. Since November, Pep keeps his wingers high and wide, meaning his 8s are the ones getting forwards and attacking the half spaces, hence the Gundo goals.

He looks decent value at 7.5m.

Has the system changed since they racked a record number of points before Liverpool piped them?

        1. Piggs Boson

He changed it after that season for some reason. That season he had Sane and Sterling high and wide with Silva and KDB attacking the half spaces. They were eqsuisite.

Pep then decided to add more chaos, adding inside forwards and overlapping fullbacks, and varying between the two dynamically. The problem was that it became chaos for the City players too. They no longer knew where their teammates would be so it was harder to hold the ball. So they lost the league.

November last year was when he changed it back to how they played during their record season.
Wingers high and wide, and the 8s pushed forward, and the fullbacks coming inside. Slow static possession, patiently waiting for an opportunity to strike. It made it easier to hold the ball, and saved energy for winning the ball back. It meant Gundo got forwards more and the more cerebral Foden came in for the dynamic Sterling.

Pep learned his lesson, City and back now, and they're dangerous.

I have Foden at present as can see increased games for him this season particularly pre CL starting

      Absolulu.

Even if they get a new striker…
7m for a City Forward in a mid position.

Fella can score several double digit hauls over the season.

Yes he’ll miss games, but get some useful subs.

How are people that had triple Netherlands, triple France, and no WC left dealing with this round?

Swap the most expensive guys out for English players, and deal with 3 blanks?
