    To Son, or not to Son…Probably the biggest decision of the season so far. Not so much owning Son but who do you actually lose in midfield. Saka, Bruno, Rashford, Sterling etc. I think I’ll bottle it and just wait until GW8.

        Wissa/Trippier was the closest decision, but I like that (presumably) Botman is back & Longstaff is in for Tonali - think that's a substantial boost for Trippier both going forward & CS prospects especially since Tonali's defensive positioning has been a bit suspect at times. Could be wrong though....

          Yeah I think that's a fair assumption to make. My only worry would be Howe was doing a Howe and saying "it's a little injury" and then Tonali starts 😛 I can never trust a thing he says regarding known or speculated issues. It sounded midweek like it was just a bit of fatigue too which is what definitely threw me

            Oh absolutely, I don't trust his pressers at all! But I checked in with Hairy Potter & some other Newcastle fans here yesterday too. And I think if he's not 100% he'll likely be rested for Milan. Plus Trippier is probably being subbed off around 60-70mins
