FPL Gameweek 5 tips: Best players, predicted line-ups, team news + more

With the transfer window closed and an international break sitting between Gameweeks 4 and 5, Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers have time to reflect and think deeply about their squad plans.

Plenty of Fantasy bosses are thinking about playing their Wildcard. In fact, almost a third of responders in our poll are activating the chip this week.

Once the options have been weighed up, we can look forward to the season’s first Saturday deadline – Saturday 16 September at 11:00 BST, to be precise.

Among the stand-out games are Manchester United v Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham United v Manchester City.
